The forbidden Scroll (Combo's)

The next day we woke up early so that we could get some combat training in before breakfast. We were doing a light jog around the castle so that we could build up stamina, Lucinda was the slowest out of all of us and she couldn't run for long without having to stop and catch her breath. 

I had Lucinda running laps around the castle while I began teaching Ava how to freeze and create water, she picked it up quickly and before long, she was freezing practise targets and putting out fires which I had 'accidentally' set. 

Ava asked if we could work on combo shots, I decided that we could do it because it would be fun, as well as being good because we could learn how to work around each others strengths and weaknesses while focusing on only hitting targets and not each other.

We had were working on one combo were we would all fire at once, It was called 'last resort'. I yelled the command that we had decided on, "last resort.....NOW,". Bursts of fire, water jets and electric lightning filled the air, I ducked as an out of control lightning bolt almost hit my wings. Not gonna lie, it was fun, but dangerous.

"Sorry," Lucinda yelled, she quickly bowed apologetically, "I wasn't concentrating".

"It's ok," I said, "and I've told you," I continued, "there's no need to bow to me, If anything i'm the one who should be bowing, you are royalty, it's fine if you nearly kill me for the eighteenth time,".

Ava gave me a look to say NOT helping. I shrugged, "besides," I said, "it's good for protecting yourself if a Ravager decides to come at you from behind,". Lucinda cheered up and we continued training and creating combos.

Lucinda and Ava created a combo that was some sort of electrified ice barrier thingy while I began to teach James the basics of creating a fire tunnel. 

My wing was aching like crazy. Even with the extra help of the scroll, the healing process felt extremely long and painful.
