I woke up on top of a hill, the ground stained with blood, the Kingdom of Roch crumbling around me, covered in ash and smoke. I looked down and saw shackles holding me in place, locked to the ground. All I could do was watch as all hell broke loose.

I looked towards the base of the hill and saw the damaged shape of James running towards me, Yelling at me to stand and fight, but I couldn't. I tried to melt my bindings, but, there was no fire, I checked the scroll. It was gone.

I gazed up at the  sky, tears streaked down my dirt covered face. The outline of a ravager burst through the clouds and I yelled at James to look out. No sound. My voice was gone.

The ravager grabbed James and shot upward through the clouds that it had emerged from, I pulled at the chains that held me. I yanked until blood started leaking from my wrists, ankles and wings. Then there was a thud, my forehead touched the ground.

I couldn't look up. I knew what had happened. I let out a voiceless scream and let my tears flow down my face like a river, I knew that we had lost. The Ravagers had got the scroll, it was over. I raised my head and gazed at the sky, it was dark with storm clouds and a strong wind had started to blow.

I then shifted my vision over to the top of the castle where a single ravager was holding its arm towards the sky triumphantly, lightning shooting from his outstretched hand. I massive shadow appeared in front of me and begun to speak.

"Get up, this is no time to rest," the voice of Sir Erginiie said, I stared in shock at the shadowy figure before me as it continued to speak, "I chose you for a reason, and right now this world needs a hero more than ever, retrieve the scroll and fight back, don't be afraid to fail and get injured, take the fight to the enemy, show them the TRUE power of the scroll,". The voice faded and the shadow figure dispersed.

I felt the strength return to my body, I stood up and turned around. I felt heat gather in my hands and I blasted the chains that bound me. My wing's opened up, uninjured and stronger than ever. I let my fire spread over my body until it covered me like a fiery set of armour, I was the guardian of the forbidden scroll, and it was my duty to protect those in need.

I started to sprint towards the castle and did a light hop to get myself in the air. I beat my wings through the smoke filled air and sent myself shooting above the numerous flames and damaged buildings. Very soon there were ravagers closing in around me. The fight had begun.
