"Alright," I said, I was standing opposite to James about three and a half metres back, just in case. "Put you hand out like this," I said while putting my hand out in the position that I had been taught at the temple, "focus on trying to build heat in your hand, it sounds stupid put this is how I learnt," I continued, "forget everything you know or think you know about how the fire element works and focus on your hand,". I noticed that his arm was rather straight, so, I quickly strode over to him and gently bent his arm into the correct shape. After that little alteration, James was throwing fireballs at targets in no time, although he had to work on his aim as it was ATROCIOUS.
"Realax, and focus," I said to Ava for about the hundredth time, "BUT," she said quickly "WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE AN ELEMENTAL ABILITY, WHAT IF I'M POWERLESS, WHAT HAPPENS IF NEXT TIME THE RAVAGERS ATACK, I'M NOT READY AND ROCH ENDS UP IN RUINS ALL BECAUSE I COULDN'T HELP SAVE EVERYONE,". "That's not going to happen," I said as calmly as I could, "besides, you can't reach out to the elements unless you relax and clear your mind, Breath in, and then out, relax and clear your mind,".
She did as I told her to, "think about how water flows through the earth, it's flexible and moldouble, yet it's powerful and strong, a single wave can cause a shipwreck, it's a basic need for life and creation, yet it it can kill and destroy with little effort,", I said in a clear, calm voice. The three of us stayed at then training area for the rest of the afternoon. It had started to get dark before we headed back to our room so that we could clean ourselves up in time for dinner.
