The next day James and I woke up to see Ava sitting on Lucinda's lap, they were both giggling about something. "What's wrong I asked, "look down," Lucinda said, Ava was smiling. Uh oh, if Ava's smiling it means that something was amusing her I thought quickly. I looked down to see myself on top of James. I leaped back and fell off the bed.
"ow," I winced as I touched the back of my head with my hand, James woke up and turned to see me on the floor, "OH MY GOD, morgen, are you ok,", he asked "what happened,". "Ask them," I said pointing to Lucinda and Ava, "what did you do," James said igniting a fire ball in his hand. "AAAHHHH," Lucinda yelled, jumping back in fright, OH SHIT, I quickly realised, she doesn't know that James also has fire powers.
"WAIT, so, let me get this straight," Lucinda said, we had had to explain everything to her and ask her to not tell King Lewis about it unless it was an utter emergency, "the reason that people are picked to be the guardian of the scroll is because they have elemental abilities, but James asked if it was possible to learn an ability, it turns out that it is and now Ava's seeing if she can do it to, am I correct," Lucinda finished. "Yep," I said, "if you want you can train with us," she had to sit down for about a minute before she could gather herself, "yes please," she replied, still shocked. Ava put her arm around Lucinda to pull her in closer, Lucinda nestled her head into Ava.
