The forbidden Scroll (Roch)

I woke up the next day to find myself leaning against James's shoulder. He was asleep. I carefully tried to get up so that I could look out the window to see where we were. 

The still sleeping James reached up and pulled me closer as soon as I sat up. Ava was trying extremely hard not to laugh as I gave her a death stare. 

Ava couldn't hold it anymore and burst out laughing, James woke up with a start, I took this distraction to sit up and act like nothing happened, my cheeks were burning. James looked at me and asked what happened, I was so embarrassed.

 Ava laughed even harder while saying "oh I'll tell you what happened, Morgen fell asleep on you, she woke up and tried to sit up and then you pulled her back down while YOU were asleep,", she collapsed in a fit of laughter. 

James and I took a quick glance at each other, then looked away because we made awkward eye contact. We barely spoke to each other for the remainder of the trip.

We had just come in sight of the Kingdom of Roch and it was beautiful. 

We could see the emerald like spires of the castle in the distance. The tree's around us started becoming less dead and spooky, the grass was greener and looked softer. Then we got our first official look at the town. 

You could see everything in it's best state, houses covered in colourful flowers and vines, It was also sad for me to know that this place would become a war ground if the Ravagers came here. It wasn't long before we reached the castle and we were getting out of our beaten up carriage.
