Ava, James and I got back to the room, I collapsed on the bed out of exhaustion. James and Ava did the same no more than a minute later.
"So," I said to james and ava, "Tomorrow morning I have to go and choose a sword, after that I was hoping that I could maybe scout and see if there are any suitable training grounds for James,". Ava sat up and said something that made me freeze, "if James has fire powers, and we're siblings, wouldn't that mean that I would have the elemental power of water, you know, since we're opposites".
"W-well,", I wasn't exactly sure how to reply to that, "I guess so,". It looks like I was going to have to teach her how to connect to the elements as well. "Ok, so, tomorrow I have to find suitable training grounds not only for James, but also an area that I can teach you how to connect to the elements,", I finally said after about three minutes of thinking about what type of area I was looking for. "Remember," I said, "you can't tell anyone about what we're doing, at least not yet,".
After that we went to sleep, Ava in the smaller bed and James and I in the larger bed. The sun had just started to come up, I couldn't sleep. I was on my side and thinking about to many things at once, the ravagers could attack at any time, Ava wants to see if she can connect to the elements, I have to teach James how to use his powers, King Lewis can't find out that James has an elemental ability even though he's his son, King lewis also can't find out that Ava wants to learn an elemental ability.
"Go to sleep," James whispered to me, I froze, I had assumed that he had already gone to sleep. I felt his arm wrap around me, for some reason I seemed to relax. After a little bit I finally went to sleep.
