We found a cave that would serve well as a look out spot as you could see the entire kingdom from there. We walked around it, it was small, yet big enough for the four of us as well as any weapons we might want or need. We headed back to the castle to grab a few supplies.
I had tried to convince them that me flying back would be faster, but James insisted that I didn't incase I injured my wing more. So. we WALKED back, well, I may have done a small glide down from the cave. Me flying ended up pissing James off. We decided to go and get supplies from the castle.
"Have we got everything yet," I asked for about the tenth time, "yep," Lucinda exclaimed, "yes," James continued, "One more thing," Ava called back.
The three of us groaned, "Seriously Ava," Lucinda called, "What thing takes, TWO HOURS, To pack, we probably won't even be at the cave for that long,". Ava poked her head out from behind the wardrobe door and took a deep breath before basically yelling, "well, I hate to say it, but," she took another deep breath then continued to yell, "MY LIFE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY CHANGED, ONE MINUTE IT'S A PEACEFUL CARRIAGE RIDE, THEN THE NEXT, WERE PREPARING FOR WAR,".
Ava looked very stressed. "Ok then," I started, "we will start taking OUR stuff to the look out area and you can come and join us when you're ready, how does that sound," I said calmly. Ava agreed.
James, Lucinda and I had just reached the cave and started setting things up, Beds, cooking areas, food storage, clothes storage, weapon storage, etc. The essential's. I taught Lucinda and James how to hunt, collect their own food, and tell if something was safe to eat or not. They picked it up quite quickly.
