It was about lunchtime when we finally got back to the castle. I still hadn't found a good training ground for James and Ava to practise on.
For lunch we had roast pork and baked potato with some sort of berry flavoured milk drink, we were joined by James and Ava's father and king Owin.
We had all just about finished lunch, that's when I decided to ask. "Excuse me your highness," I asked king Owin, "yes," he replied. "Well," I continued, "I need a place to train, and so far I haven't found an area that is suitable, I was hoping that you might know of a place that I could use," I continued, "it would have to be a semi-fire proof area with a water source in case I somehow accidently set something on fire,". The king thought for a moment before saying "Would the guards training area suffice,".
After lunch Ava, James and I all headed back to the blacksmith's workshop to pick up my sword. I said thankyou and sorry for the trouble, he said that it was fine and that he was glad that we were at least polite and asked if we were unsure about something. We headed to the training area.
When we got there, it was empty. The king had called off the guards training for today so that we could have the area to ourselves for training, besides, I don't exactly think that he would have wanted to have his guards getting in between in the crossfire of, well, fire. I set Ava up with the stones and said the same words that I had said to James, when it seemed like she was ok I walked over to where James had been standing for the past twenty minutes.
