"Wait, no! You can't have detention tonight. It's a Quiddich game today. Also, what guy?! You didn't write to me about a guy."
"Oh thank god you're back!" I said as I ran up to Tracey and gave her a big hug. "God I missed you," I whispered.
"Blimey, Y/N, what happened while I was gone?" She said as she pulled me back.
"Where do I start?" I said as I let out a light laugh as I saw Theo in the corner of my eyes.
"Theo!" I said as I ran up to him as well.
"Hey." He said happily. They had written a few times over the break but it wasn't the same. Especially with having to deal with Pansy and Millicent alone in the dorm.
After meeting up with Cedric as well we stepped inside Hogwarts again.
"Well, I've got to go. I'll see you guys later." Cedric said as he ran over to his Hufflepuff friends.
The three of us walked into the great hall knowing Theo would have to leave soon to be with his popular friends.
"Bye guys." He waved. Yup, knew it.
Tracey and I sat down, her sitting in front of me, waiting for dinner.
"Ok, so tell me what happened. I want to know everything." She said excitedly as she clasped her hands together.
"If you insist." I laughed. "The first day was probably the worst and the best. After you guys left I found out that Draco was also staying." Her face scrunched up with sympathy. "Yeah, I know. Anyway, I had fight number one with him and Pansy then went to dinner where I met a guy. Then we decided to hang out after curfew. So I got dressed, got called a slut, punched him and flipped him off, then got caught by Filch, and got detention for today after school. Oh and then I hexed Draco and of course he complained to his father earning me the rest of the week of detention." I let out a breath that I was holding trying to fit all the words in. Tracey looked astounded.
"Wait, no! You can't have detention tonight. It's a Quiddich game today. Also, what guy?! You didn't write to me about a guy." She said slightly offended.
"His name is Adrian. We've been hanging out a lot recently." I blushed just thinking about him.
"Hanging out? Or 'Hanging Out'?" She wiggled her eyebrows stupidly and I slapped her across the table.
"Hanging out. Now stop you look like an idiot." I chuckled.
"Well, when can I meet him?" She asked. She's never going to leave me alone about this now is she?
I looked down the table trying to find him and I eventually saw him talking to another girl. I shook it off and pretended I didn't see him.
"I don't know. He must not be here right now." I shrugged and Tracey sent me an odd look but understood.
---
"Alright, well I need to be getting to detention," I said to Tracey as we were leaving the great hall.
"Oh, yeah. Have fun!" She said sarcastically but she looked at someone behind me making me turn around.
"Hey, Y/N." He smiled at me as he took my hand.
"Hey, Adrian." I blushed looking back at Tracey and I could tell she was asking if this was the guy and I nodded.
"Yup. Have fun, Y/N." She teased once more before she turned to go back to the dorm as Adrian lead me to where we would be for detention. With McGonagall.
When we entered the classroom Marcus was already there and he brought his horse teeth and demon smile with him.
"Adrian you sit over there, and Y/N over here." She directed us to the opposite sides of the room. "So, you all know why you're here so I won't re-explain." She said professionally like normal. "Your task for today is going to be getting rid of the gum under the tables." She said as she waved her wand and these scrapper things appeared in front of us.
'This is disgusting.' I whispered to Adrian about halfway through as another piece of chewing gum falls from the underside of the desk and into the metal bucket. I sat up and whipped my sweater sleeve across my forehead.
'Yeah, it is.' he agreed as we both continued.
---
After about two hours we were done and were released. Tomorrow I would be with Snape so that should be interesting.
We handed the material back to McGonagall and hurried out of the classroom without much second thought.
"God, I reek," Adrian whined as he smelled himself.
"Yeah, same here." I laughed knowing I would be needing a shower when I get back.
When we got into the Slytherin common room I went to go to the girl's dorms to get some clothes before I felt a hand on my shoulder turning me around.
"See you around. Y/N." He said as he lifted my hand up and placed a kiss on the back of it. In front of the entire common room. I looked around to see who was watching. Just Theo and his popular friends and some others. My face turned bright red as I smiled back at him and turned to get my clothes.
When I walked into the room I hear Millicent say something. "Hey, Pansy? You smell that?"
"Oh, It's just Y/N." She sneered at me as their eyes followed me to my trunk. I grabbed some pajamas and a hair tye.
"Screw you guys," I said before I walked out of the room and slammed the door to head to the bathroom.
After my shower, I walked back into the dorm, and thank god Tracey was there.
"Hey," She said as she put down the book she was ready when I walked in. "Did you have fun?" She teased once again.
"Shut it." I laughed. "It was awful,"
I looked over to see Pansy and Millicent's confused faces.
"Can I help you?" I said to them making them snap out of it.
"Was what fun?" Pansy spoke up squinting her eyebrows.
"Why would I tell you?" I snapped at Pug-Face to which she just rolled her eyes and continued talking to Millicent.
After I finished putting my other stuff up I asked Tracey how the game was and she said the Slytherin won. Of course. Even though the team was down two players because Draco wanted to get me in trouble. He was a douche and for no reason.
