Three

"Well then, you've got a lot to talk about."

The three of us sat in a compartment just talking as the train was filling up. 

"So. If you and Draco are a thing now why aren't you sitting with him?" Theo asked still not believing me. 

"I don't have to be around him all the time," I responded. I saw someone move past the compartment window. Harry. It looked like he was headed to wear the other Slytherins sat. That couldn't be good. 

Theo had started talking again. "Hold that thought," I said as I slid out of my seat and opened the compartment door. 

"Where are you going?" He asked crossing his arms. 

"Just hold on." I closed the door and followed him. He was clutching something behind his back but I couldn't tell what it was. 

Everywhere I passed whispers erupted. I leaned into one of the conversations as I passed. 

'I hear she and Malfoy are now dating.'
'I don't believe it. I thought she hated that bloke.'
'Vile he is. So is she.'

That was all I heard as I passed. I shook it off and continued to follow Harry. I made it look as inconspicuous as possible. 

He finally came to a stop outside the entrance to the cab Draco and his friends were in. I hid behind a pillar to see what he was doing. I saw him look into his hands before throwing something. The entire cab turned black and yells erupted from inside. I closed my eyes and turned away so none of the powder got into my eyes but when I turned back around Harry was gone. 

"That sneaky brute," I whispered to myself. I waited for the rest of the fog to clear before coming out from where I was hiding and walking into the cab. 

As I walked through the chattering stopped and I felt eyes lay across me. Once again, I managed to keep my head high and paid no attention to them. 

I found where Draco, Pansy, and Blaise were sitting. Something moved on the rack above them. And that's when I knew. 

When I had made it to where they were I could just faintly make out what they were saying. "We'll see just who's laughing in the end." It was coming from Draco. The grin on Blaise's face fell when he saw me walk up. 

"Y/N?" Pansy said completely shocked. I smiled cockily at her before turning to Draco. I nudged his shoulder a little bit and tilted my head a little bit at the moving bag. His gaze traveled up there and his eyebrows furrowed. 

"What's she doing here?" Pansy asked annoyed. 

"You didn't tell her?" I laughed at Draco's face. "Well then, you've got a lot to talk about," I said before turning on my heels and walking back to the cabin I was in earlier.

"Took you long enough," Theo said. "What did you go to do? Snog Malfoy?" 

"More or less." I teased. 

Tracey groaned at the bickering between us. "You two are so immature." 

"We know." We both said making us laugh. 

"Exhibit A." She shook her head with a smile on her face. It felt great to be back with them. No pressure. No pain. Just us three.
