"I was weak. He was right."
All the death eaters and Draco and I rushed through the halls ending up in the Great Hall. We walked the length of it, Draco never letting go of my hand. They had thrown everyone that got in their way back while we all continued to walk. Until Draco stopped short making me stop as well.
Bellatrix ran along the tables knocking over the silver cups and plates before casting a spell that ripped through the hall like an invisible tornado. My hair flew behind me as I looked in horror at what happened. Flashback to when I met Tracey filled my head as I looked to the table that we met at.
"You're new?"
"I am."
"Well, I'm Tracey Davis."The once neat table full of food was empty and destroyed and I can't help feeling it's partially my fault. We walked down through the courtyard out to the forbidden forest. Running through the woods had never felt worse. It was like I was being dragged by an invisible force pulling at me.
The thought hit my mind like a train shattering whatever hope I had into a million pieces. We were headed in the direction of Hagrid's hut.
"Hagrid! Hello?" Bellatrix taunted as she skipped to the small house on the outskirts of the castle.
We wall walked towards it until a voice made us snap around. "Snape! He trusted you." Harry. Draco and I stood behind the professor until a woosh of magic had hit something. I turned around and my face flooded with horror as flames danced around the house swallowing it with every breath it took.
"NO!" I wanted to scream but I knew I couldn't so I just collapsed. My knees gave way and I fell. Draco tried to stop me by wrapping his arms around me but that just made him fall next to me as well. He pulled and prodded at me to get up finally succeeding but I didn't want to.
"Go on," Snape demanded at us but the words felt empty as they rang through my head. I was apart of whatever this was. Bellatrix squealed and danced with happiness making me feel worse.
Draco dragged me along with him but part of me wanted to push him back and run into the fire. End it all. But I couldn't no matter how weak I was. I was weak. He was right.
"Please work with me, love." Draco pleaded as each one of my muscles became dead weight completely abandoning their jobs. "Y/N!" He snapped at me becoming frustrated as he was now dragging me across the ground. "BLIMEY, GET UP." He yelled. My muscles regained some feeling in them. My stomach lurched at the sound of the crackling fire and shattering glass staring back at the hut I visited on occasion.
I had started moving again and soon I was running side by side with Draco, following the death eaters. Some of them had apparated into their black foggy form.
"Go find your parents!" Bellatrix yelled in front of us before she too apparated. Draco and I turned to each other before he stopped unexpectedly. He caught my hand before I could continue running and pulled me to him. He placed his lips on mine and his hands on my hips.
"I'm so sorry." He said into the kiss.
"Don't be. They should be sorry." Our foreheads were together now. "We'll make them sorry."
