"No. Harry's faced Voldemort plenty of times. And survived. He'll be fine."
Someone found out about the wedding. Found out about Potter possibly being there. I hit myself with any book I could find at my stupidity. Why would I just throw it out the window??
"STUPID. STUPID. STUPID." I yelled at myself as I paced the empty house. Empty except for one, Draco.
"Stop calling yourself that, love. It's not your fault." Draco said sipping his tea acting like everything was fine and dandy. Like I hadn't possibly gotten Harry killed.
I sighed and walked over to him. I took his teacup and took a sip of the warm liquid.
"This is good," I said as I brought it down from my lips. Draco looked from my eyes to his drink. He just wanted his tea back.
He nodded his head slowly. "Yes. Yes, it's good. Can I have it-"
I slammed the glass cup into the floor making it shatter into a million pieces, the almost orange liquid spilled out, inching its way across the floor.
"Don't be like that." He groaned as he stared at his floor tea. I stared blankly at Draco who turned away from my gaze trying not to laugh. "Oh, dear." He laughed. "I can't wait until they get back from the wedding and tell us they didn't get Potter."
"You don't think they will?" I cocked my eyebrow at him. At his sudden loss of faith in the Death Eaters.
He shook his head. "No. Harry's faced Voldemort plenty of times. And survived. He'll be fine." He stood up from the tall chair he sat in and made his way over to me. He pushed my H/C hair out of the way as he leaned in and kissed my forehead before walking away.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"Getting more tea." He fakely smiled. "Because someone dropped it." Draco laughed making me laugh. His laughs had been seemingly all real. Not fake anymore and I was happy with that.
I sat in his seat and propped my feet up on the table. No one was here except for me and Draco-
A cackling made my heart skip as I flung my feet off the table, slamming them onto the ground. I straightened my posture, fixed my hair as quickly as I could. Becoming presentable.
"Ahhh, Y/N!" Bellatrix sang as she walked into the main room I was in. "We didn't find Mr. Potter." Her demeanor from being happy and skipping changed into frustration, almost rage. "IT COULD TAKE US MONTHS TO TRACK HIM DOWN AGAIN." She belted into the room.
"Bella, calm down." Narcissa walked through, greeting her sister. "We'll find him. The Dark Lord has foreseen it." The words seemed to calm down Bella but I wondered how much truth was in those words. Had the Dark Lord really seen another meeting with Harry?
I couldn't let that happen. If he finds Harry, Harry dies. And I would be apart of that. I couldn't let that happen. Draco came back into the room this time carrying two teas. He set one down in front of me before pulling up another chair, sitting beside me.
"Did they find him?" He asked as he scooted closer to the table. I shook my head. He smiled before looking at me, forcing my gaze to look into his.
"Told you so."
