"Are we seriously going to do this? I mean killing Dumbledore... that's insane."

I stared at my reflection in my closet mirror like I did every day now. It was almost time to leave for the platform and I was a completely different person. I thought about it every day. It ate at my thoughts like a plague. I couldn't even talk to the same people I did last year. My entire friendship with the twins was ruined. I looked and acted like a Malfoy now and I didn't know what to think about it.

"Miss, it's almost time to go." A house-elf came in and told me.

"Alright," I said making the last touches to my outfit. I was wearing my typical black silk dress and grey fur coat.

My bags had already been packed and taken out to the carriage. I was nervous to see everyone again but excited to see Amos. I walked to the door to leave the room. As my hand reached the handle to turned to take one last look at the room. My new home more or less.

Finally, I turned the handle and walked out to meet with Narcissa, Lucius, and Draco.

"Are you ready to go, dear?" Narciss asked kindly as I walked up to the family.

"Yes ma'am," I responded dryly. I was ready but I wasn't ready for what might happen. Someone might find out about the dark mark. I might be the most hated person in the school. Theo and Tracey might stop talking to me. All because I was stupid enough the fall for him.

We walked out of the large doors and got into the carriage that was placed outside. Once inside, I crossed my legs and stared out the window. The ride was quiet except for the noise the wheels made against the ground.

I saw the large station appear while the carriage came to a stop. The footman helped all four of us out.

"You understand what needs to happen correct?" Lucius asked harshly at me and Draco. We nodded our heads in unison. "Great." Was all he said before disappearing back into the carriage.

"I believe in you, son. You can do this." Narcissa said giving Draco a big hug. He hugged back weakly. "You too, Y/N." She said pulling me into the hug as well. "Alright, goodbye. Send me an owl if anything goes wrong." She too disappeared into the dark carriage.

We watched as it backed up and blended in with the shadows. Draco and I looked at each other with the same expression. 'This can't end well.' We both knew it couldn't.

"You ready?" He asked.

"No. But again I have no choice." I sighed looking at the entrance of the station. Kings Cross. He started to walk forward but I stayed frozen in my place.

"Come on." He groaned when he realized I wasn't moving.

"Are we seriously going to do this? I mean killing Dumbledore... that's insane." I told him and his face flushed with hurt.

"Yeah. Of course, it is. But if we don't then we die. So let's go." He grabbed my arm and started to pull me along.

He let go eventually after I started to walk with him. We got to the entrance and started to ease our way in with the crowd.

Some people gave us weird looks at what we were wearing but somehow I managed to keep my head tall. He grabbed Draco's hand so we didn't get separated and he squeezed it as well.

We go to platform nine and walked a little distance until we were at the entrance to 9 and 3/4. Taking a deep breath we started to run a little until we flew into the wall. My surroundings became dark but as soon as I saw light again I saw the busy platform. Draco and I let go of each other's hands.

We had decided that we were just going to tell everyone about us now. We couldn't hide it for much longer so there was no point. We looked around and nobody had seemed to notice us yet. I didn't see anyone I knew either. I looked for Theo, Tracey, and Amos, but I couldn't see them from where I was standing.

"See you later," Draco spoke up. I knew he had spotted his friends. I just nodded my head and we split up and went opposite directions.

Draco hadn't changed but I certainly had so I was getting strange looks from people that had been in my classes.

I don't know where it came from but confidence filled my soul. Every step I took made me feel more powerful. I walked with my back straight and my head tall. I felt as if nothing could touch me at this point. I didn't move out of the way for anyone. They moved for me.

Still, my eyes scanned trying to find the three people I was looking for. Then I did. I saw Amos standing by a wall. My smirk grew into a smile and I rushed over to meet him.

"Amos!" I cried out. I could tell he recognized my voice because he started searching the area for me. When he found me I could tell his face fell. As quickly as it fell he turned it back into a smile.

"There you are, squirt." He said as we hugged. "How was the summer?" He asked.

"It was fine. I missed having summer with you, though." I responded. He just nodded as if he understood.

We let go of the hug and he just smiled. Amos looked at his watch then back at me. "I'm sorry I wish I could stay longer but I've got work to get too." He told me. I gave him one last hug before he ran off.

I turned back around to face the crowd of students rushing to get on the train.

"Bloody hell." I heard someone say to my left. I looked and was met with Theo and Tracey. Their jaws were dropped, reminding me of who I was now. "What happened to you?" He continued.

"Yeah, about that. We need to talk." I said. Tracey's face filled with worry as I began to speak.

I exhaled deeply. "Last year during Christmas break something happened. I'm still confused about it all but to make it short... Draco and I are together. His family invited me over to their Manor over summer. Now we're here." I said hoping it cleared it up.

Theo looked at me with an eyebrow raised obviously waiting for me to say I was kidding. "Don't look at me like that," I said to him.

"You're kidding." His voice was filled with disbelief.

"I wish I was," I responded.

Tracey stared blankly at me. "So you mean to tell me... you had a boyfriend last year. And you didn't tell me?? I get not telling Theo but ME?" I laughed at her response.

"I know I know. We thought it was for the best. But yeah that explains it I guess."

They just stared at me. Theo's eyes filled with disbelief and Tracey's filled with humor. I had no idea what I'd do without them.
