Chapter 40~

     Buong araw na ata akong nasa kwarto. I was thinking too hard on what to do with Will. Sinubukan ni mama't ate na kausapin ako but I refuse to tell them what happened, I felt like giving a burden to them kapag ikinuwento ko sa kanila ang nangyari. Natatakot rin ako, na baka isipin nila na tama si Will at paghihiwalayin kami ni Chase. I don't ever want that to happened.

     May narinig ulit akong katok, "Sabi nga na-" And the door opened with a whoosh at naramdaman ko na lang na nakaupo na si Riley sa gilid ng kama ko. Thank God andito na ang alagad ni Mahatma Gandhi. Bago pa siya makapagsalita, I hugged her.

     Just the presence of Riley made me feel a little less miserable. "Ano'ng problema?" She asked worriedly and I buried my face on her neck. "Tumawag si ate mo sa bahay at pinapunta ako rito, mukhang nag-aalala talaga siya sa'yo." She pulled away to look at my face. "Nag-away ba kayo ni Chase?" 

     Mabilis naman akong umiling, "Si Will." Bumuntong-hininga ako. "Si Will?" She asked a bit shocked. "Nag-away kayo ni Will?" She asked for confirmation. I slowly nodded, "Hindi ko naman alam na hihintayin niya ako eh. Nakita niyang bumaba ako ng kotse ni Chase diyan mismo sa tapat ng bahay namin. We had an argument and he told me to break up with Chase." Umirap naman si Riley. "Yun lang pala eh! At least alam niya na kayo na noh, you just need to explain your stuff to him."

     "Hindi lang yun, Ley! He confessed to me, accidentally I think. He likes me!"

     "Ha?" Kumunot ang noo niya sa sinabi ko. "Whaaat!? He likes you!? Yung like na mahal?" Tumango ako and she gasped. "Oh my god. Hindi pala siya nagbibiro ng sinabi niya iyon sa akin?"

     She knows? I started slapping her arms, "Bwisit ka! Alam mo pala!?" I cried. "S-Sandali! Ano ba!" She put her arms in a x position to defend herself para maiwasan niya ang pananampal ko sa kanya. I stopped slapping her and frowned, "Look. Hindi ko naman alam na totohanan iyon! I thought he was joking!" Aniya. "Nag-usap kasi kami bago siya umalis papuntang Korea and he kinda told me he likes you in a joking tone. Malay ko naman na totoo iyon."

     I groaned and buried my face in my pillow. "Kausapin mo siguro si Chase patungkol dito, he's your boyfriend now right? Dapat niyang malaman ito, Dyl." She touch my shoulder and I pull down the pillow. "Baka magalit siya?" I squeak. "Maybe not. Makikinig yang si Chase, he's not as hot tempered as Will is." 

     Tama nga si Riley, but I'm still hesitant about this. Chase and I are in a relationship now, I don't know what he'll do kapag nalaman niyang may gusto pala si Will sa akin. Maybe he'll be mad? I don't know. "Just try, Dyl. I'm sure he'll have some suggestions with this situation." I heard Riley say.

     "Paano kung sabihin niyang layuan ko si Will? I cannot leave Will! He's my best friend and I need to fix him!"

     "Then, ipakita mo kay Chase how much you love him! I think si Chase ay hindi yung tipo ng tao who jumps to conclusions. And as for Will, talk to him too. Wait, give him a little time to cool off. Mainit pa siguro ang ulo nun ngayon. But I doubt you can fix him." Riley sighed on the last sentence. "He needs someone who can fix him fully and kahit na masakit itong sabihin we both know na that someone isn't you. Mahal na mahal ka niya, Dyl. Nararamdaman mo naman siguro yun diba? You'll end up breaking his heart over and over again."

     It was painful ng sinabi ni Riley na I cannot fix Will. Pero kahit na masakit man, yun yung totoo. He needs someone who can love him fully. "I don't really know what to do." I sighed frustrated. Riley hugged me again, "Don't worry. He'll be fine."

     Mas maaga akong pumasok ngayon dahil kailangan kong makipag-usap kay Chase. He needs to know kung ano'ng nangyayari. I saw him sitting down on a bench in the campus park, he smile when he saw me approaching him. "Namiss kita." He stood up and give me a hug. "Kelangan nating mag-usap." I slowly pulled back.
