The boys help Jane prepare to move
Jane cringed at the sound of the tape screeching. "Can you like, not do that?" She glared at Minhyuk who purposely pulled it even farther with a smirk. "Whoops!" She glared at him harder but he only continued packing things into boxes with a grin on his face.
"What are you gonna do when she's not here to tease?" Kihyun asked, neatly folding her clothes on her bed. Minhyuk shrugged, picking up some pictures and wrapping them in bubble wrap. "Just go there and tease her. She's more fun to tease than the rest of you." Jane scoffed at him and he only grinned wider.
"He's just to prideful to admit that he's actually going to miss her." Jooheon said and Minhyuk shook his head furiously. "Absolutely not! We can get some brighter decorations in here." Jane rolled her eyes. She literally only had curtains and a dark blue comforter. She wasn't one for decorating much.
"We can make this a studio. Instead of staying at the company all night we can just sit in here all night." Changkyun said, standing up and picturing it in his head. "Or we can turn it into a home gym!" Shownu said brightly. "Or a game room!" Hyungwon and Jooheon mimicked each other. "Excuse me!" Jane said, crossing her arms.
"I'm still here! I'm not leaving for a few more days." She pouted, harshly tossing some of the clothes into the open box next to her. Shownu chuckled, ruffling her hair. "Don't worry, Jane-ah. We're all going to miss you." She raised an eyebrow. "Doesn't seem like it. You're already redecorating and I'm not even gone yet."
Minhyuk sighed, leaning back on his palms. "We need to change it so that we don't miss you, babo. If it stays how you left it, it's just gonna be even more dark and dreary." She rolled her eyes, tossing a shoe at him and he expertly ducked out of the way. "C'mon, Jane. You know we're gonna miss you." Jooheon said, knocking her shoulder with his.
She sighed, rearranging the clothes she tossed in the box. "I know. It's just—weird. I've only lived with my dad outside of you all. You're my family. Maybe I shouldn't do this." Shownu clicked his tongue, sitting down next to her and grabbing her chin with his fingers.
"YunJae," he said, dark orbs peering into hers with the most sincerity she'd ever seen in them. "You're happy and you wouldn't have said yes when he asked if you didn't want this. We're still going to be your family. And you're always welcome here whenever you want to. We're happy for you, really. Now you need to be happy for you."
She smiled, grabbing his wrist. "I know. Sorry. It's just different. But I'm excited too." Hyungwon smiled, putting in the last of her clothes in the box and closing it. "I know. But you're gonna make new experiences. And besides, if you need to leave, we can always just put the room back how it was." She rolled her eyes but had a grin on her face.
"Thank you, all. Seriously. I would be losing my mind right now if it wasn't for you." They all smiled, continuing to pack. Once the last box of the night was finished, Jane stood up, stretching her arms and back. "I think we should make some tea and watch a movie and call it a night. We have recordings to do tomorrow." She said and the others nodded in agreement.
"I'll make the tea, you all go get the movie set up." Kihyun said, going towards the kitchen. Jane grabbed her comforter and pillow, dragging it with her to the living room. Changkyun pulled out the couch so it was big enough for all seven of them. "It's been a while since we've did this." Jooheon commented and Jane hummed.
"We should every night before I leave," she teased and Changkyun shook his head. "Then we'd be too tired of you to have a house warming party." She looked at him in shock. "There isn't—who said there was a party?" Jooheon shrugged, focused on picking the perfect movie which meant one that he wanted to watch regardless of everyone else's opinions.
"Jimin. He's excited too, he invited everyone over. To welcome you." She groaned, shaking her head. "There is no party. Seriously. You guys act like I'm getting married or something." Changkyun shrugged his shoulders, settling in on the couch next to her. "I mean, that's all that's left. Might as well start early. I'll make sure to bring some cakes. We can do cake tasting early. One thing off the list."
She smacked the back of his head and he glared at her. "I can't stand you." She mumbled and Changkyun just offered her a cheeky grin. "Tea's ready!" He handed out the mugs and Jane settled in, waiting for whatever movie Jooheon had picked to start. "Whose bed do I sleep in when I stay here after you erase me from the dorm?" She teased lightly.
Kihyun shrugged, eyes trained on the TV. "Minhyuk-ie's."
"YAH!"
