The members still try to figure out the mafia
Changkyun jumped awake at the sound of the song the staff played that they were supposed to try and remember. He quickly smirked at his sleeping members, reminiscing on how he teased them all, completing his mission while they all slept. He thought he was doing pretty well as the mafia and wasn't expecting to get caught. Wonho popped up and Changkyun put on his best acting face and pretended to still be half asleep. However, when both boys looked over at the other team, they burst out in laughter. Hyungwon and Jane were sprawled out all over each other, limbs entangled and Jane's hair flaring out wildly.
Jooheon jumped awake at the added noise, along with Kihyun and both couldn't keep the laughter back as they looked at the sleeping pair. "Good luck trying to wake them up," mumbled Changkyun. Jooheon stumbled over to the chair, still half asleep, ready to finish the mission and hopefully go back to sleep. However, he failed miserably and was squirted with freezing cold water. Wonho and Changkyun had made it halfway before messing up and also getting sprayed. Changkyun and Jooheon took the water guns, one spraying Hyungwon and one spraying Jane. Jane jumped up, half-lidded eyes in a glare.
"What the hell, I.M?!" She yelled and Kihyun scolded her. "Sorry, oppa." She mumbled, sitting on her knees and staring blankly at the ground. She had fallen asleep before even getting through the first few seconds of the song and couldn't remember anything. Hyungwon sat next to her, head slumped on her shoulder and she fought the urge to rest hers on his and fall back asleep. However, she was able to pay more attention as Wonho finally finished, followed by Changkyun and she ran up, cutting Minhyuk off. "Yah! You can't just cut." He said and Jane smiled sweetly, flipping her unruly hair over her shoulder. "You're right, I forgot it's ladies first." She stepped out of the way and Minhyuk rolled his eyes at her but stepped forward. "At least I'm more of a lady than you are." He retorted and Shownu grunted, smacking the back of Minhyuk's head and pulling Jane to stand behind him.
"You two need to stop for five minutes just to get through this last mission." He said tiredly and Jane nodded. "Yes, oppa. Sorry, Minhyuk-ie." She said, ruffling his head. He ignored her, starting to sing and passed. Jane stepped up but she quickly failed the lyrics and was drenched in cold water. She stomped back to her spot, wiping her face off with a towel. "This is dumb." She muttered and Hyungwon laughed and lunged forward. "It won't be when you're last place!" He said and Jane widened her eyes, running up to the camera. "HYUNGWON OPPA MAFIA!" She yelled, looking at him and muttering betrayer. She did lose and was mercilessly squirted with more water.
They all crouched down, Kihyun ready to pick his final choice for mafia. When they all sat up and the staff announced it was Changkyun, Jane widened her eyes. "I stood up for you!" She exclaimed, moving next to Jooheon and wrapping her arms around him. "I'm sorry for yelling at you, Joohoney." She said sweetly and he laughed, wrapping his arms around her. "All's forgiven." Changkyun laughed and everyone was ready to tackle him when they saw the video of him waking up and messing with them while they were sleeping. "Yah. I can't believe it." She said and Changkyun laughed. "Sorry!"
They ended the broadcast and Jane was relieved. She was tired and ready to go home. "I can't believe you lied to me, I.M," she said, teasingly and he laughed. "It's the point of the game, dude." She rolled her eyes, "don't call me dude." Minhyuk came up beside her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders and pinching her cheek. She tried desperately to break away from his grasp but he wasn't having it. "You act more like a dude than a dudette!" He said and Jane kneed his knee and he yelped, glaring at her. Shownu sighed, stepping in between the two. "Can you two please get along? Just for one day?" The others laughed at their exhausted leader and Kihyun popped in to have his back. "At least until we get back to the dorm. Or no dinner." Jane and Minhyuk both widened their eyes.
"If he stops being annoying then I won't have to hit him." She said, crossing her arms and looking down at the floor. Minhyuk scoffed, mimicking her actions. "If you could act more like a maknae and put some color in your life, I wouldn't have to be so annoying." Jane arrowed her eyes at him jumping on to his back and Minhyuk ran out of the room with her clinging on for dear life. "Even food doesn't help them get along?" Shownu said, looking exasperated. Wonho chuckled, clapping his hand on the Shownu's back.
"Don't worry, Shownu-shi, they love each other. They just show it different. If you don't pay any mind to it they'll stop eventually." Shownu groaned, following Wonho down to the car and he groaned again as he saw Jane with Minhyuk's head trapped between her arms and her fist furiously rubbing the top of his head. Changkyun and Jooheon were laughing and recording them while Kihyun was doing his best to pry them apart, yelling at the other two for just standing there without helping.
"Just ignore it, Nu." Wonho said, but he was also laughing as he slipped past the crowd and into the car. "ENOUGH!" Shownu yelled and everyone froze in their places, looking at their usually level-headed, quiet leader with wide eyes. He walked up, picking up Jane with one arm and grabbing Minhyuk by his color with his free hand and dragged them into the car, placing them next to each other. The pair looked at each other with wide eyes and then back at their leader who was now nestled comfortably into the passenger seat, almost fully asleep again. "He's scary when he's mad," Jane whispered and Minhyuk nodded. "Even more than you are." Jane hummed in agreement. "Truce? For today?" She asked, holding up her pinky. Minhyuk nodded, linking his pinky with hers and then handing her an earphone. "We can finish the last episode of our drama." He said and Jane settled in comfortably beside him, eyes glued to his phone screen.
Shownu peeked out one of his eyes in the rearview mirror, smiling subtly when he saw Jane and Minhyuk intensely focused on the phone screen. Peace and quiet for the rest of the ride was going to be great, at least until they got home.
