Chapter 59

Lexa's POV

Boys and I were supposed to pick up our dates soon. They were all at Blake's house so it wouldn't be hard. Im also bringing Luna along with me so she could take Raven with her.

„Come on Luna! We're gonna be late." I yelled at her from the car while she was putting her jacket on.
„Chill out! Do you want me to freeze to death?" She closed the door and walked towards the car yelling back at me.
„It wouldn't be so bad." I rolled my eyes and started the car. She got in and we drove off.

„Where are they?" Bellamy scratched his neck while standing in front of his house.
„Right there." Murphy pointed at my car approaching.

I parked my car next to Bellamy's and got out.
„Sorry guys. We didn't mean to be late but Luna couldn't put her jacket on-"
„Listen young one-"
„Okay, okay. It's fine. The girls aren't ready anyway." Lincoln stopped us.
„Im sure Octavia's gonna lose her shit when she sees you." I said to Lincoln.
„You're the one to talk." He
„It's coming from a gay girl." Murphy said.
„Exactly. So stop flirting you two." Bellamy added.
„You're just jealous you don't look as good as us." Lincoln snapped at him.
„It's called self confidence." I continued.
„Wha- Okay you know what-" Sound of door opening cut Bellamy off and everyone's eyes looked in that direction.

„Hi guys." Harper was the first one to walk out. Monty smiled and kissed her.
After that Echo walked out and smiled at Bellamy. His jaw literally dropped.
Emori was the next one. Murphy couldn't take his eyes off of her.

After that Octavia walked out and immediately hugged Lincoln.
„You look amazing babe!" She squealed.
„Have you seen yourself?" She smiled and pecked her lips.

While watching those two I didn't even notice that Raven was already in Luna's arms. They both looked at each other with heart eyes as they were admiring each other.
My eyes looked at the door again and then I saw her.

There she was. With her beautiful wavy, golden hair and eyes that were blue and cold like the deepest oceans but somehow soft and warm like the blue skies. She had a long dark blue almost black dress that fit perfectly on her.

I felt like air was sucked out of my lungs. She alway manages to take my breath away no matter how she looks like or what she does.

My eyes found hers and smile appeared on her face.
„Hi." She walked up to me a put her arms around my neck.
„Hey." My arms automatically made their way around her waist.
„You're so beatiful." I whispered.
„So are you." She said and kissed me.
„Awww are you blushing?" She asked when she pulled away.
„N-no." What can I say. I couldn't get enough of her.

„Okay let's go everyone." Lincoln said.
I pulled away from Clarke and she linked her arm with mine.
I opened the door for her when we approached my car.
„Thank you." She smiled. I smiled back.
Luna did the same for Raven. Then we both got in as well and drove away to school.

Clarke's POV

When we arrived Luna got out and opened the door for Raven. My hand almost touched the door but Lexa stopped me.
„Nope." She shook her head and quickly got out of the car. She ran around and opened my door as well.

I chuckled at her cuteness. She took my hand and kissed it as she closed the door and followed Raven with Luna.

„Guys let's take some photos!" Octavia yelled at us when she saw there was like a small stage for taking prom photos.

„Wells?" I smiled as I saw the boy I knew so well.
„Clarke. Hey." He let go of the camera and hugged me.
„You look amazing." His smile became wider while he scanned me with his eyes from head to toe.
„Hi." Lexa hugged him as well and put arm around my waist.
We were just standing there for a while before Octavia yelled at us once again because there was a lot of noise coming from the school as the prom was already happening and the music was playing loud.
„Are you just going to stand there or are you gonna take photos with us?"
„Let's go." Lexa smiled down at me and kissed my forehead.

„Okay, now everybody smile. Say cheese!" Wells joked and I just rolled my eyes.
„Eye roll and smile are very different things Clarkie." Wells looked at me from behind his camera.
„Aww Clarkie?" Lexa looked at me with puppy eyes. I swear her eyes sparkled.
„Just look at the camera." I shaked my head and pushed her face out of mine gently.
She just chuckled and tightened the grip around my waist.
„Let's do one more." Wells said to get our attention.
„Cheese!" We all smiled.
„This one is gonna be good." He smiled.

We moved places so another group of people could go and take photos.
„I will send them to you Clarke. You can also come leater to take separate couple pics if you'd like."
„Thanks Wells." I smiled.
Lexa took my hand and pulled me towards the school so we would catch up with others.

The interior was dark and there were purple and blue lights shining. On the other side of the hall there was a stage with DJ table where Miller was already playing songs with his boyfriend.

„Woah. It lookes awesome in here." Lexa looked up at the ceiling above us to see all the lights and decoration.
„Yeah. Definitely better than the one in freshmen year." I said.
„You had one?"
„Yeah. Haven't you had one as well?" I raised my eyebrow.
„No." She said.
„Are you serious?" She nodded.
„Well let's enjoy this to the fullest." I grabbed both of her hands and pulled her towards the dance floor where other already were.

After a while, when everyone was already inside our Principal Jaha went up on the stage.
„Welcome students. This prom is special for all of you that decided to come here tonight. You did it. You are seniors. Life is gonna show you it's beautiful side but don't forget about the dark side. You have to be ready and I with other teachers hope that we had prepared you for that."
„Like hell you had." Raven mummbled under her breath.
„I want you all to enjoy this night as much as you can because this is the last time. There will be voting for Prom Queen and King. You can start voting in 30 minutes in the right corner pf the hall. We will open the photo galery that we made with studens from photo course. There are pictures of you through the years since the fresmen year. Now enough talking. Enjoy guys and have fun!" Jaha raised his voice in the end and everybody clapped and cheered.

„Am I the only one who hates him?" Raven asked me loudly. Nobody could hear her anyway because of the noise.

„Guys come on!" Octavia dragged us with her.
There were a lot of people on the dance floor you could barely move.

„May I have this dance?" Lexa asked me and extended her hand for me to hold.
„Yes." I took her hand and chuckled. She always does this.

We smiled at each other and danced until Miller would change the song.
