Chapter 14

Clarke's POV

I really got the courage to tell Raven about what happened after she called me yesterday.

Clarke: hey can we meet somewhere? We need to talk

Raven: clarkieeee is everything alright?

Clarke: for now yes

Raven: meet me in starbucks in 10 minutes youre freaking me out

Here goes nothing.

I waited for Raven in Starbucks. I ordered a coffee for me an for her.

„Griffin!" I heard that familiar voice which was the last thing I wanted to hear right now.
„Hey Rae." I gave her a coffee and looked at her with sadness and concern.
„Are you okay? You freaked me out." Raven said with chuckle.
„I need to tell you something but you have to promise to trust me." I was so nervous.
„Okay I promise... go on." She said with raised eyebrows.
„That night, when you invited me to come over and you and O fell asleep.... Finn kissed me." I sighed with relief that it's finally out.
There was a moment of silence and I didn't like it.
„Seriously? What a dick." She said with her head in her hands and watery eyes.
„I know right."
„Thanks for telling me." She gave me a sad smile.
„Look. You know I wouldn't never ever lie to you." I said.
„Yes I know."
„Than Im begging you. No matter what he'll say it's a lie. He'll do anything for you to stay with him. I know he's your boyfriend so you have better reason to trust him but I would never do that to your relationship." I said in serious but soft voice.
„I know Clarke. Im gonna beat his ass." She stood up and walked outside with nod for goodbye.

I called Lexa.
„Hey. How did it go?"
„She went after Finn but she's not mad. Well not at me but at Finn."
„See? Wasn't that hard."
„The hell it wasn't! Can you imagine how nervous I was?"
„You did it. That's all that matters."
„Wanna go somewhere?"
„Where?"
„We can hang out and then go to my house?"
„Sounds great. Where you at?"
„Starbucks."
„Be there in second. Bye"
„Bye."

I hung up and waited for Lexa. She really was here in second. She got a coffee and we went for a walk and talked.
„Is your mom home?" Lexa asked.
„No she's at work like always but I think Madi should be home." I said excited to see her after a month.
„Madi?" Lexa asked confused.
„Oh yeah. My little sister. She's 7 like Aden. She was away with our grandparents for a month." I remembered the time when they used to take me too.
„Oh well I guess Aden has a new friend then." She smirked.
„Yeah." I intertwined our fingers and smiled.

We talked for a while and headed to my house. Madi was on a couch sitting and watching tv. I slowly approached her from behing and covered her eyes.
„Guess who?"
„Clarke I know it's you." She chuckled.
I quickly switched with Lexa while Madi has still her eyes closed.
She turned around in confusion as Lexa smiled at her and laughed.
„Clarke who is that?" She was a bit scared but smiled too.
„Madi this is Lexa." I introduced her.
„Hey there." Lexa gave her the biggest smile.
„Im Madi." She smiled too and then jumped to hug me.
„I missed you." I hugged her tight.
„I missed you too. How was your trip?" I asked.
„It was amazing. We saw beautiful places." She did movements with her arm like she was showing me.

I heard Lexa cough and I immediately looked at her with 'sorry' smile.
„I can go if you want to be alone." She said with smile.
„No it's okay." That's when I got and idea.
„Can we go to your place?" I smirked.
„She smirked back and nodded. She knew what I was thinking.
„Madi we're going to show you someone." I held her hand and walked outside the house.
„Where are we going?" We sat in my car.
„To show you your new friend." Lexa looked back at her with smile.

We drove to Lexa's house and saw Aden in backyard.
„Aden!" Lexa shouted.
„Hey Lexa. Hi Clarke." He waved.
We came to the backyard with Madi behind my legs. She was always shy while meeting new people.
„Madi this is Aden." Lexa ruffled his hair.
„Hi Madi." He smiled and waved at her.
„Hi." She said shyly.
„Go and get to know each other. We will be inside." I whispered to her as I got down on her level. She smiled and ran to Aden. They immediately started to talk and laugh.
„They're cute aren't they?" Lexa said.
„You're such a softie."
„Im not!" She tried to deny it.
„Whatever you say." I turned around and walked inside through backdoor.

We were watching movie for a while until my phone buzzed.
„Shit it's Raven." I whispered.
„Pick up."
