You're Not Alone

Chapter 2

Lexa's POV

I was going to bio class when I heard someone screaming my name. I turned around and saw a short, dark skined girl with dark hair.
„Lexa wait up!"
„Hey uuh...Raven?"
„Yep. That's me." she said proudly.
We walked in the class and I was looking around for empty seat when I saw beautiful ocean blue eyes. I was stuck in the moment when Raven interrupted me.
„Stop staring at Clarke and go sit down." She whispered to me, scared of Clarke noticing us. I walked past Clarke and sat down behind her. She didn't even notice because she was so focused on her work.
„Hello everyone. Welcome to biology class. My name is Mr. Pike. We are gonna make pairs or small groups for our project. I will read the names and you will pair up."
At this point I was so nervous because I didn't know anybody here. I hopes to be with Raven even tho she's slightly annoying.
„So...Jasper and Harper, Raven and Monty..."
He said all the names except me.
„Clarke Griffin and Lexa Woods."
Shit. She turned around and her eyes met mine. I immediately looked away.
„Hey. Im Clarke. I guess you figured it out already."
She extended her hand. I shaked her hand and looked away. She smiled.
„Not much of a talker huh?"
I stayed quiet.
„Well you'll have to talk sometime because we got a work to do."she said.
„Your work will be to make a skeleton of any animal you want. You can use anything it's your choice. You have two weeks."
After that I stayed quiet, looking at the ground, just wait for the goddamn bell to ring.

Finally. When I was just about to stand up and go away Clarke stopped me.
„Can I have your number? I guess we will have to meet up somewhere to do a project."
„Umm yeah sure." She handed me her phone and I wrote my number.
„I knew you can talk!" She said with laugh.
I laughed a little and gave her her phone back.
„Thanks. I will text you tonight."
She turned around and walked away. I heard Raven coming my way.
„Heyy Lex! By the way you are so lucky to be with Clarke. I bet she's gonna do ALL the work." she laughed and put her hand around my shoulders.
„Don't call me Lex." I said annoyed.
She let go and turned my head to face her.
„Look. I know you maybe don't like it here and that you're probably shy or introvert. I don't know what's wrong but this is where you are right now. You can't be like this for the whole year. This is our last year you have to have some fun Lexa." she said looking literally into my soul.
„It's..complicated.." I said with sadness in my voice.
„Just let us help you. If you ever need someone to talk to, we are here."
I looked down and nodded.
„Anyways! Me, O and the rest of the group are headed to Starbucks today after school. Wanna come with us?"
„I don't know. Let me think about it."
„Cool. I will add you to the group chat!"
I like how she's so excited about everything but she talks so much.

I walked out of the school and got in my car. I stopped in school to pick up Aden.
„Hey buddy! What's up?" I asked when Aden got into the backseat.
„I got A from math test!" he said with happiness and excitemet.
„Wow. You gotta be kidding!" I actually meant it. I can't remember when I got my last A from math. But I bet it was a long time ago. I started the car and drove off. Aden wanted some music so I played the radio. We screamed at the top of our lungs. I loved to be with him. He's the only person who can actualy make me forget about the past for a while. I parked the car in the garage and opened the door. Aden ran towards Anya and gave her the biggest hug.
„Hey there!" She got down on his level and hugged him. I looked at them and smiled.
„How was your first day of school?" She asked.
„It was..okay I guess."
„Have you made any friends?" She looked at me with concern.
„Yeah actually. They are kinda nice. Im gonna go out with them soon."
„You should get ready then."
I smiled at her and ran up to my room. Anya isn't our real mom actually. She's just trying to be one. Aden and I lost our parents 2 years ago. Anya was my mom's friend and she promised to take care of us.
I lay down on my bed and looked at my phone. I was spammed with messages.
