You're Not Alone

Chapter 6

Lexa's POV

All I could see was beautiful peaceful forest, road in the middle, snow everywhere. It seemed like a dream. I turned around and saw a car flipped on it's roof with lifeless bodies inside, bleeding everywhere.
Blue and red lights.
People taking the bodies outside trying to help.
Then putting blankets over them.

I suddenly woke up sweating with tears in my eyes. They were my parents. I was there. This keeps happening every night since they died.
3:25. I checked the time and laid back staring at the ceiling. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't sleep. I stood up and took a shower, trying to be quiet because of Anya and Aden. I turned on lamp on my desk and took out a sheet of paper. I grabbed a pen and started writing down everything that came into my mind about the project, making it easier for Clarke. My cheeks flushed bright red as soon as I started thinking about her. I could see her smiling at me looking into my eyes with those ocean blue eyes. Damn she's perfect.

About an 2 hours later I heard Anya closing the door to the bathroom. I opened my closet and picked out a black hoodie and black ripped jeans. After that I brushed my hair and walked out of my room heading to kitchen.

„What are you doing up so early?" Anya asked with surprised laugh. Yea, I never wake up so early. I always sleep until the last possible second.
„Couldn't sleep."
„Was it that dream again?" She came to me and put her hand on my shoulder.
„Yeah..but I'll be fine." I always am.
„If you need anything Im always here." She said leaving to work.

I sighed and sat down on the couch in living room. Scrolling through random programmes I found interesting looking movie. I went to kitchen to get something for breakfast. I found the first bowl and poured some milk and cereal in it. I wasn't really hungry tho.

Footsteps could be heard from upstairs and I knew it was Aden. He walked down with his teddy bear in his hand wiping his eyes and yawning.
I shot him a smile and he joined me on the couch.
„Good morning sleepyhead."
„Good morning." He was still tired.
I handed him a bowl with cereal. He took it and started to eat.
„What are we watching?" He asked.
„Nothing really. It looked interesting." It was about a girl who couldn't go out because she was sick. She fell in love with her neighbour and she always wanted to see ocean so he took her to Hawaii.
„By the way Im going to my friends house today and Anya is in work. Do you think you can stay here alone?" I wasn't sure if I should leave him all alone.
„Yeah Im a big boy." He said with his chest stretched out.
„Sure you are."

It was 1 pm when pizza artived. Aden was hungry and since I can't cook anything except spaghetti, we had to order something. Pizza was the best call. I texted Clarke.

Lexa: Hey

Clarke: Hey

Lexa: What time do you want me to come?

Clarke: You can come now Im bored anyway. Polis 113.

Lexa: on my way

Clarke: can't wait

The last message made me blush. I know she didn't mean it really but it was still cute.
I took 2 slices of pizza with me and was ready to leave.

„Aden Im going out! Don't burn the house down!" I shouted laughing.
„Okay bye!" He shouted back and with that I left.

I didn't take my car. Nice walk can't be bad. It took me about 20 minutes to get there.

I stood in front of her door and knocked. Nervousness was taking over my body. A older woman opened the door with confusion but a wide smile.
„Hello Ms. Griffin." I said nervous.
„Ahh call me Abby. You must be Lexa right? Come in!" I didn't expect Clarke telling her.
I walked inside and looked around. It was nice. Bigger than our house definitely.
