All of a sudden dark figures began to apperate into the warmly lit marquee. Spells collided with lanterns that smashed, tables were flung against the walls as guests screamed.
Patrick cursed himself for his naivety, he should have known something like this would happen.
"Percy we have to go" Patrick called but the red head had darted from sight running towards his sister who had been blasted behind a table.

"PERCY" Patrick yelled in fear as a spell narrowly missed the boys head. The blonde dived behind one of the covered tables as his heart pounded like a drum. He had to go now but he didn't want to leave without his boyfriend. Percy had said this would be their last chance and with the way the world was he believed him.
As the Weasley boy didn't know where Patrick was hiding, the only way for them to be together would be if Percy came back to him now.

However understandably, Percy was trying to help his family. Patrick peered his blue eyes over the table to see the mess that was happening. Lights flew everywhere as people fiercely duelled with one another. Many of the guests had fled while they had the chance but it seemed as though the death eaters kept on coming.
Patrick noticed that Ron, Harry and Hermione had disappeared, after all it was Potter they were after.

As his eyes skated the room he was worried they might land on his father. If Tony saw him everything would be ruined, he needed to get Percy back now.
Patrick turned his attention to where he'd last seen the boy but he and Ginny were nowhere to be seen. The blonde saw Elle duelling with a large death eater, panic written over her eyes. He longed to help them, to fight yet the fear and anxiety inside him took over.

This was a mistake, he shouldn't even be here. He should be in Greece, with his family. His priority should have been his mother and sister but here he was cowering behind a table as the death eaters took over. They were winning, this wasn't surprising considering the sheer amount of them in comparison to the dwindling wedding guests.
"Patrick" the boy turned to see Percy grabbing his arm, his eyes mirrored the fear that Patrick felt.

"We have to go" the blonde boy pleaded, "if we're going to go we have to do it now"
"I'm ready... I told Ginny to tell my family what's going on... don't worry I didn't tell them everything"
"Right we need to go then" Patrick nodded frantically as he grabbed hold of Percy's arm.
As his eyes scanned the room one final time he saw something that made his stomach lurch.

Tony was staring back at him, his eyes full of malice and a sneer written on his face. Patrick froze his mind going blank. He'd been seen. He wasn't sure what this meant for his secret but he was sure that it wasn't good.
"Patrick" Percy called hastily and the blonde snapped back to reality. He could still make it. He focussed on the house by the beach and in an instant they were gone. They'd escaped.

They arrived in the porch of the small house, Patrick was out of breath and shaken from the small encounter they had just had. It seemed that Percy hadn't coped well with side along apparition either, he pushed his hair out of his eyes as his skin paled.
"Can you tell me where we are now?" He asked in a light voice,
"Athens" Patrick responded, "my mother's greek"

Percy gazed out of the window to see the beach that was thriving in the late summer evening,
"It's beautiful" he replied in a murmur,
"Patrick is that you?" A nervous voice called from within the house, the blonde grabbed hold of Percy's hand as they entered the kitchen.

Harriet and Amelia were both sitting round the kitchen table, Harriet had her hands wrapped around a mug of tea despite the warm weather while Amelia was tapping her nails worriedly against the surface of the wood.
"Oh thank god" Amelia gasped as she jumped up and flung her arms around her brothers neck, "you've been gone ages"
"Have I?" Patrick asked guiltily, "sorry ... I guess I got carried away"

Harriets eyes shifted immediately to Percy who was standing awkwardly by the door now understanding how Patrick had felt upon meeting the Weasleys.
"This is Percy" Patrick smiled as the boy raised his hand rather sheepishly,
"It's great to meet you" Harriet jumped up, "I'm Patrick's mother"

"And I'm Amelia" his sister smiled,
"It's a pleasure" Percy smiled brightly, "thank you for letting me come here... and I'm sorry about what's happening to you"
"It's no bother" Harriet smiled, "it's nice to see a fresh face"

"Mum I saw him" Patrick blurted out feeling as though he couldn't contain himself anymore,
Harriet, Amelia and Percy all turned in shock.
"He was there?" Percy asked, "I'm so sorry"
"It's ok Percy it's not your fault"

"Why was he at the wedding?" Asked Amelia,
"The ministry's been taken over" Patrick explained, "the death eaters showed up at the end"
"But you got away" Harriet smiled, "that's all that matters, he can't get us here"
"Right" Patrick murmured however he didn't feel so sure, for some reason when his eyes had collided with his fathers he'd felt as though the man had learned all of his secrets.

Percy had settled into life in Greece extremely well, he was mainly just grateful that Patrick had given him another chance, that they could finally be together.
Despite Patrick's constant worrying, Percy had managed to drag him out of the small cottage occasionally to walk along the beach with their hands intertwined.

It felt refreshing being so open when their previous relationships had been so enclosed and hidden. The sea breeze ruffled their hair as they basked in the warmth that came along with the months of august.
Percy got on well with all seven of the cats who seemed to love him. Saturn especially was fond of the new guest. She would constantly choose to curl up in his lap as the family sat around joking and laughing.

"I never want to lose you" Percy murmured as Patrick lay his head against his shoulder, "I'm not going to lose you... right?"
"Course not" Patrick smiled, "we've been through too much to let go"
"I hope you don't think I'm weird saying this but... I can already see our future together"

"That's not weird" Patrick chuckled, "I can too"
"What does yours look like?" Percy smiled,
"A smallish house, like the one I grew up in... a few cats of course ... and maybe some kids but who knows" he laughed,
"That's how I pictured it too" Percy grinned, "a boy and a girl"

"You talking about the cats or the kids?" Patrick joked,
"The kids ... we'd have more than two cats knowing you"
"I'd call the girl Liliana" Patrick smiled softly,
"I love that name" Patrick smiled, "I'd call the boy Blue"

"Why Blue?" Patrick asked in curiosity,
"Because I love how blue your eyes are" Percy smiled lightly and Patrick felt as though his smile could light up an entire city.
"I love you" Patrick murmured softly,
"I love you too" Percy replied as they watched the sun go down.

The next day, the two boys were sat in the kitchen talking to Harriet as she baked her famous white chocolate and raspberry cookies.
Percy was filling in the crossword on the back of a muggle newspaper they'd found while Patrick stroked Pluto's fur lightly.
"Amelia better hurry back with those raspberries or these won't be done in time for three" Harriet sighed as she mixed the ingredients together".

"She's been out for a while now hasn't she?" Frowned Patrick as he looked at the clock, "the store isn't even half a mile away"
Percy placed his pen down nervously as he gazed out the window. It seemed everyone had suddenly become aware of how long Amelia had been out.

All of a sudden a silvery mass shot through the window similar to the one that had arrived at the wedding.
It took the form of a lizard as it hovered above the table.
"You really think you would get away boy" the silvery animal spoke in the voice of Tony, "you think I would know occlumency"
Patrick's heart froze as his mind switched back to the eye contact he and his father had made, Tony had read his mind... he'd found him.

"If you don't want to lose another sister, I suggest that you come to the warehouse on 42nd street by nightfall... choose wisely Patrick, you won't escape this time".
