AMELIAS POV
"Owen you promised me a bath," I chuckled as he was sitting in the office working on something.
"I'll meet you upstairs I promise," he said.
"Okay," I smiled.
"Unless you need help getting up the stairs," he joked.
"Owen," I complained, because he was right.
"Just give me one minute I promise," he said.
"Okay," she said and sat down, "what are you working on."
"Just forwarding some of the intern research to April for a case. She put me in charge of it because she didn't want to proofread any of it," he laughed.
"I wouldn't want to do that either," I laughed. He finished his work and we walked upstairs. We both walked into the master bathroom and got undressed.
"This is so needed after a long day," I said and he kissed my forehead.
"Agreed," he said. We both got in the tub and I sat in front of him while he rubbed my back.
"Your back is so tense," Owen frowned.
"I know," I sighed as he kept rubbing it.
"Does this help?" He asked.
"Yes thank you," I said.
"So we're having a girl," he said excitedly.
"We are," I smiled, "I can't believe we were both right."
"Me either," he said, "but we have a mini Amelia."
"Who we aren't naming Amelia," I laughed.
"Yes exactly," he chuckled.
"Can we talk about names?" I asked as I leaned back into him. He ran his hands over my stomach and I smiled.
"Yes," I said, "I would love to."
"Do you have a top name on that list of yours?" He chuckled.
"Maybe," I laughed.
"I want to know what it is," he said as he kissed my shoulder.
"I really like Caroline, but it's really close to my mom's name. I also really like Annabelle, Emma, or Sophia," I said, "what do you think?"
"I like Caroline," he said.
"Really?" I said and looked back at him.
"I do," He said, "Annabelle is also good."
"Yeah," I said, "do you have any suggestions?"
"Riley, Kimberly, Brooke," he suggested.
"No," I said.
"You don't like one of those names?" He laughed.
"Brooke maybe, the other two no," I said.
"Fine," he chuckled.
"Did you really love them?" I asked.
"No," he said, "I just came up with them because you had so many."
"Do you think Caroline is too close to my moms name?" I asked.
"Is it a bad thing if it is?" He asked.
"I mean no," I said, "it's not a bad thing."
"I like Caroline," he said.
"Are you just saying that because I like it?" I asked, "and you have to be honest it's not a room color or a carpet it's our daughter's name."
"No Amelia I really like it," he said, "I'm not just agreeing with you."
"Okay," I said. He kissed my shoulder again and then started kissing up my neck.
"I love you," I giggled.
"I love you too," he said.
OWENS POV
We might have picked out a name. I really don't know. Amelia really liked Caroline, but she's scared it's too close to her moms name, but I really like it either way, I just don't know if it bothers her a lot that it's similar to her mom's name. It might bother her I don't know. We haven't even discussed middle names, deciding on the first one if it's not Caroline will be a whole process.
"Hey Owen," Amelia said and broke my thoughts. We were watching TV in bed together.
"Yes honey?" I asked.
"How do you want to tell people we're having a girl? And did you tell Megan?" She asked.
"I don't know and I didn't tell her, although she begged me so much," I laughed.
"Can we have a gender reveal party? Where like we have a cake or something that's pink inside for all our friends and family?" She asked.
"We can do that," I smiled.
"Really?" She said.
"Yeah, sounds fun," I said.
"Yay," she said.
"You clearly think about these things more than I do," I laughed.
"I'm the mom, it's my job," she chuckled.
"And how's our little one doing in there?" I asked and kissed her stomach. I saw a little kick and I looked up at Amelia.
"I think she hears her daddy," Amelia smiled.
"Well hello little Caroline, or Emma, or Sophia, or Brooke, or Amelia Jr." I laughed.
"Do not refer to our daughter as Amelia Jr." she laughed.
"Why not? We all know she's going to be a mini you," I laughed.
"She probably will be," she said.
"Strong and determined like her mommy. Beautiful inside and out. Brilliant, kind, generous, and every single amazing quality her beautiful mama was," I said.
"And every amazingly kindhearted quality her daddy has too," she smiled and kissed my cheek, "to think about it we're making a pretty incredible child."
"We are," I said.
"I'm so excited," she said.
"Me too," I said.
"And to think, in four months we'll have her here in our arms," Amelia smiled.
"Almost halfway done," I said.
"Okay well this has felt like a lifetime," Amelia laughed, "it's definitely not easy."
"Yeah but if anyone can do it, it's you," I said.
