Alone Time

AMELIAS POV
"You're stunning," Owen whispered in my ear as we got out of the car.
"You're handsome," I smiled. He put his arm around me and I smiled as we walked in. We walked in and Bailey handed us business cards. The whole point was to try and get donations, but that was kinda hard when your husband looked so hot.
"You're coming with me," Meredith said and grabbed my arm.
"What why?" I laughed.
"Because you'll be distracted if you go with Owen," she laughed.
"Would not," I chuckled.
"You look so bubbly did you two finally get alone time?" She chuckled.
"Yes," I smiled, "It was amazing. I have not had sex like that in months."
"I can only imagine with a baby who cries as much as Caroline," Meredith chuckled.
"Yeah," I said.
"And how is my little niece?" She asked.
"She's doing well," I said.

We got a decent amount of donations tonight. We kinda stopped soliciting everyone because we went through all the bidders here. Bailey hired some extravagant performers so they were doing their thing now. I took out my phone and texted Evelyn.
"Hi! Is everything good at home?" I sent.
"Yup, Caroline is asleep, everything was fine," she said.
"Amelia she's fine," Owen said as he walked past me and grabbed my phone.
"Owen," I complained and took my phone back.
"Perfect thank you," I replied to Evelyn.
"You are so uptight," Owen said as he kissed my cheek, "why don't you just relax?"
"How?" I chuckled. He smirked at me and I looked at him in disbelief.
"Owen we can't do it here," I chuckled.
"Sure we can," he said, "there's plenty of random rooms in this place."
"Owen," I chuckled.
"It's your call," he said as he placed a kiss on my neck.
"You're sure nobody will know? Bailey would kill us," I said.
"She won't even notice we slipped away for a few minutes," he said and put his hand on my back as we rushed out. We walked down the hallway and Owen opened a door.
"You just have to be quiet," he laughed as he grabbed my hips.
"Mhm," I smirked as he kissed me.
"You look so hot," he said, "you are hot. And you're mine."
"You're mine too," I smiled as he unzipped my dress. I unzipped his pants and he smiled.

"Where have you been?" Derek laughed, "I have been looking for you."
"Oh uh I was on the phone with Evelyn," I lied, "why what's up."
"Thought you disappeared or something," Derek said.
"Oh no," I said, "I'm fine."
"That's why Owen left too right?" Derek said and nudged me, "Liar."
"Shut up," I said, "my daughter cries 24/7 and this is my first night out in 6 months."
"I'm not blaming you," he chuckled, "it gets better I promise."
"I hope so," I said.
"It will," he said.
OWENS POV
I pulled in the driveway and it was pretty late. I hoped Caroline didn't cry a lot for my mom. Amelia and I got out and I grabbed her hand.
"See? You made the whole night without having to come home or call my mom a million times," I said.
"Aren't you proud of me?" She chuckled.
"Yes I'm proud of you," I said and kissed her head. We walked inside and my mom was up watching TV.
"Hey how was it?" She asked.
"It was good," I said.
"That's good," she said.
"How was everything here?" Amelia asked.
"Oh she was fine," My mom said, "she cried a few times, I have her the bottle and a few Cheerios, and she fell asleep by 6."
"Thank you," Amelia said as my mom got up and hugged us.
"I would stay but I do have to get up for work in the morning, good night guys," my mom said smiled.
"Good night, and thank you again," I said. My mom smiled as she left and Amelia and I went upstairs. I opened the bedroom door and Caroline was fast asleep.
"Look at her," Amelia smiled, "she's so cute."
"She is," I said. Amelia smiled as she kissed me and then we both changed into pajamas. I crawled into bed and Amelia followed after a few minutes. She laid down next to me and I pulled her close.
"You are so pretty," I said.
"I took my makeup off stop," she chuckled.
"You don't need makeup to be pretty," I said, "you're always pretty."
"Thanks Owen," she smiled, "you're too sweet."
"I love you," I said as I kissed her.
"I love you too," she said. We heard crying and Amelia chuckled.
"She can only be a perfect angel for my mom," I laughed.
"True," Amelia said and got up. She picked up Caroline and walked back over to the bed. She laid back down with Caroline on her chest.
"Hi baby, did you miss us?" Amelia said cutely. I rubbed Caroline's back and kissed her head.
"Hi Caroline," I smiled. She fussed a little and Amelia sat up. Caroline started crawling over the bed and I smiled. She's been crawling around the house a lot more.
"Someone has a lot of energy for 11PM," I laughed as I picked her up.
"Someone does," Amelia chuckled as she put her head on my shoulder. Caroline clung to me and I smiled.
"Caroline it's time to go to bed," Amelia chuckled, "mommy and daddy are very tired."
"Yes that's right mommy and daddy are very tired," I chuckled. I picked her up and placed her back down in her crib.
"Good night," I said.
"Good night," Amelia smiled as she got up and kissed my cheek, "sweet dreams baby girl."
