Chapter - 19 The headache

Jannat's POV: I struggled to get up from my position where I just laid on the ground in a very weird and uncomfortable manner. I got up slowly while picking up my phone and went forward to catch up with Siddharth. The dude literally never took his eyes off me until I left. What a creep. 

Sidd: Hey, where did you just vanish all of a sudden?

Jannat: I kinda fell down after bumping into someone. And ouch, my head still hurts.

Sidd: God, Jaan you really need to focus on the road while walking. Kabhi patthar toh kabhi insaan.

Jannat(shrugs): Yeah well I didn't do it on purpose.

Sidd: Alright anyway, I'm gonna go meet up with my boy gang. Do you want me to drop you back to the dorm?

Jannat: Yeah, Anushka prolly needs me anyway.

He walked with me up to Anushka's room and even went in to check on her. Her eyes were all red and she looked real pale. Man, this sucks. After seeing her, he waved at me and left. Avneet wasn't there in the room.

Jannat: Baby, how you doing now?

Anushka(hugs Jannat): I don't even know. Not fine I guess

Jannat: Aw, its gonna be fine okay? Do you wanna talk about it?

Anushka nods. 

After a long talk, she did smile cuz she felt much better. After about an hour, there was a knock on the door and on a "come in" signal, Chris walked in. 

Chris: Hey Jannat! I wanted to...

He stopped in his tracks when he saw Anushka in such a bad state.

Chris: Oh man, are you okay?

Anushka: Yeah don't worry

Chris: Do you want me to get donuts?

Anushka(smiles): You would do that for me?

He walked out just the way he came in without even replying and after about 10 minutes, he came through the door again holding a box of donuts. Aw, isn't that adorable? Now you might be wondering how they both know each other. Honestly, I met Chris through Anushka. He was her lab partner. He always seemed like a sweet, innocent guy and he was funny too. He was easily one of Anushka's closest friends. And that's how I met him. And we just clicked. We had a lot in common and he always loved to give me company which I appreciated very much. 

About another 15 minutes later, Anushka was totally laughing. Chris was cracking amazing jokes to make her feel better and now that he was here, I didn't need to be there for company. It was getting pretty late so I decided to drag them along with me for dinner. I obviously had to call Siddharth to get him to come and eat his dinner, otherwise he would just forget all about dinner just because he's with his boy gang. In the canteen, we found a nice secluded spot and sat down. Chris sat down beside Anushka and I sat on the chair opposite Anushka. Siddharth soon joined us, sitting beside me and put his phone down with a loud thud on the table. Then he said he was gonna go order food and get it so I decided to go along with him. We soon returned to the table and put down plates of food. Anushka didn't eat much since she had just eaten donuts, so she claimed she wasn't hungry. Siddharth as usual ate to his heart's content and I on the other hand, felt like my whole world was spinning. Why? Becuz my head was spinning! If I ever see that idiot again, I swear it won't be good for him. Ouch! I even saw Avneet and Reem together on one table. Oh hey, they're friends now, thats nice. But ouch, my head still hurts. I guess Siddharth noticed me becuz he asked me,

Sidd: Dude, why aren't you eating?

Jannat(puts her hand on her forehead): Headache 

Sidd: Oh. Do you want some balm or something?

Jannat: No

Sidd: Are you not gonna eat? 

Jannat: I don't feel like it. My head hurts so bad. 

Sidd: Okay then, you leave me no choice

What's that supposed to mean? I started to ask him the same question but before I could, he shoved a spoonful of rice in my mouth. What the heck dude?! I voiced this and he said that I had to eat. Yeah well I would have eaten after my headache died. This guy, oh God.
