Chapter - 30 You are beautiful

Jannat's POV: Did he just say what I heard him say? She is mine? No I'm not his what the heck? But honestly, I'm not surprised. This has been going on since a loooooooooong time. The first incident dates back to the time when we were 16. 

2 years ago,

He was flirting with a girl who was head over heels for him. That too in the freaking basketball court. Of course it angered me. Siddharth was this typical playboy in our school. Every girl would die for him and I was always the one getting rude and mean comments just becuz i hung out with him all the time and the other girls were jealous. Well, anyways, of all the places he could take these bubble headed robots to, he picked the basketball court. Anyway, the girl's best friend comes up and tells her that I was playing basketball on the opposite side of the court. And then the girl told Siddharth that she doesn't get why he hangs out with someone as ugly and rude as me. And then, his volcano went off. He tried his best to control his voice so he silently pointed towards the court's exit and said, "Out". Isn't it funny that he can tell the same girl whom he was flirting with so passionately to get out of the court (and his life) just becuz of me? Like I'm not rude, I just hate talking to people. I could listen to the conversation that was taking place becuz I was hovering all around the court, playing basketball. The stupid girl and her "bestie" left the place becuz they could most definitely see the anger in Sidd's eyes. He gets freaky when he's angry. And then he turned back to see me picking up the ball that was lying on the floor. I had heard some of these weird comments about me and I didn't give a damn about any of it. Sure I was upset sometimes but hey, people are gonna say all kinds of shit about you, all you need to do is ignore. That's what I did. I don't know how this guy always figures out whatever's going inside my head just by looking at my face. So.. yeah maybe I was hurt. But its no big deal. For me, that is. But for Siddharth, it would be the biggest deal. When I caught him staring at me, I smiled at him. Or at least, I tried to. Then I turned my back on him and started walking away from there. He caught up to me and grabbed my hand. My eyes met his caramel brown eyes as he said,

Sidd: No matter what anyone says, you are beautiful. Inside out. That's all that matters. 

And then, he kissed my cheek. I was as surprised as you, trust me. My eyes popped out when he came that close. He smiled at me and continued, 

Sidd: Aur waise bhi, mujhe agar future main koi mila nahin, toh tu mera 

He winked at me and then walked away. I couldn't move, breathe or blink. I was like what just happened? I am definitely one of the luckiest people for having the best best friend on earth. I mean, he's legit always there for me. He makes me feel special when I'm at my lowest. He never fails to hold my hand when I feel lonely. He is real. 

Well anyway, back to present, Kritika was annoyed that her so called crush was threatening to separate her hand from her socket. I was trying to control my laughter so bad. Kritika stomped her foot on the floor and left the place, her sidekicks trailing behind. And then Sidd turned to me. 

Sidd: You okay?

Jannat(smiles): I'm always okay when you are there with me. Thanks :)

Sidd(smiling back): Always 

We left the auditorium to reach our dorms. 

Jannat: What were you doing in the auditorium anyway?

Sidd: I was bored so I figured I should come to you.

Jannat: Waise Siddharth, tu hi agar meri madat karta rahega yeh sab mein toh kal tu nahin hoga toh main kya karungi?

Sidd: Well you won't ask for help when you need it, so everytime I have to step in myself. Aur waise bhi, tu seekh legi mujhse kaise sambhalte hain aise logon ko

Jannat: Sigh let's hope
