Chapter - 27 Be a badass like Brad Pitt

Jannat's POV: Why is Siddharth acting so damn sus? He literally shoved the food into my hands and said he had to go meet Brad Pitt, like really? Is that the best excuse he could get? This guy ugh. Thankfully, Anushka came just the next moment after Siddharth left in a hurry. And you know the weirdest thing? I legit followed Sidd's actions. I told her to watch the food and when she asked me where I was going, I told her I had to go meet Brad Pitt. What? That's the first thing that popped into my mind. I ran from there to follow Siddharth. I searched pretty much everywhere but I couldn't find him. And then, he caught my eye. He was in the football court talking to someone that too while holding a stick. Who was that? Oh my God, that's the creep. I entered the court as soon as I could only to hear him saying, "thike?". That's weird. I folded my hands as I stood behind him. He turned to face me and his face immediately formed a regretful expression. He desperately wanted to hide what he had just told the creep. But I obviously wouldn't let him go like that.

Jannat(smiles, looking at the creepy dude while talking to Sidd): Oh wow, this is your Brad Pitt?

Sidd: I-

Jannat: What were you saying to him?

Sidd: Nothing-

Jannat: Don't lie to me and besides what the heck are you doing with a freaking stick? Ah, that reminds me. 

I took the stick from Siddharth in a daze of anger and walked up to the creepy dude. 

Jannat(smiling sarcastically): Hi man! You might like following people here and there but lemme tell you that I'm so not comfortable with it. I hope you get that inside your head. And if I see you continuing with this kind of behaviour, yeh danda aur tumhara muh. Soch lena. Thik hai?

The guy smiled at me bright and didn't lift his eyes off of me for even a second. Okay, he is impossible. I dragged Siddharth by his arm and we left the court. I was obviously not gonna let that creep get the better of me. I know how to handle these kind of people. Like I said, I might appear sweet but I'm a badass.

Sidd's POV: I must be dreaming, right? I mean, it can't just be a coincidence that Jaan literally repeated what I just told him two minutes ago. Like the exact same words, in the exact same tone. Wow, I'm rubbing off on her. 

Jannat: Kya bol rahe the tum usko?

Sidd(smirks): Yaar main khaana leke aa raha tha phir maine iski harkate dekh li. Mujhe gussa aaya ki yeh aise kaam kar raha tha and isliye danda. But you know what's the weirdest part? You repeated the same thing that I told him about 2 minutes ago. Were you listening to the whole convo?

Jannat: That is weird cuz the only thing I could hear was at the end when you said thike?

I stared at her blankly.

Jannat: Yeah, you're rubbing off on me. I ran away from Anushka giving her the same excuse you gave me. 

Sidd(laughs): Jaisa main, waise meri Jaan

We walked back to the same place where Anushka was seated. She wasn't even waiting for us lol. She was sipping her drink quietly and when she looked at us she waved us over.

Anushka: Where did y'all vanish?

Sidd: Kaam tha yaar. Anyways, tu bata, dancing comp main kya karne waali hai tu

Jannat: Wait what?

Anushka(smiles): I got selected for the dancing competition. 

Jannat: Hawww, and you didn't even tell me?

Anushka: I got to know just a few minutes ago. Also, all girls have to do the ramp walk.

Jannat: WHAT? NO

Anushka(laughs): Its compulsory

Jannat: Yeah then I might as well go up on the stage in a hoodie and my sweatpants. Ugh I hate this.

Anushka's POV: It is so hard to hide things from your friends. I'm going through so much and I hate the fact that I'm going through it alone. I wanna tell them really bad. I was broken on the inside. I couldn't do anything about it though. And that hurt. I subconsciously lay my head on Siddharth's shoulder as I sighed thinking about my condition. He looked at me worriedly but he thought it was just a random gesture I guess.
