After the suicide, the Lowman family settled back into navigating life. Happy went to work and club stuff while Allison was home with the kids and taking care of the house. They didn't realize that a few months had passed until they were preparing the house for Christmas. Allison was pulling out the decorations while Happy was at work. The babies were sleeping and Emersyn was watching cartoons. Allison was prepared for another Samcro Christmas. They were a lot of fun for the kids. Gemma made sure of it.

"Mama, are we gonna see Santa," her daughter asked from the bottom of the ladder to the attic.

"Of course we will, princess," Allison replied.

"But what about the police man at the door."

"What?"

Allison quickly made her way down the ladder to find out what her daughter was talking about. The little girl wasn't wrong as the doorbell rang.

Allison pulled open the door to reveal two police officers on her porch. She was extremely confused.

"Can I help you?" she asked.

"Is Victor Lowman home?" the first officer asked.

"No he is not. I am his wife. Is there something I can help you with?"

"Can you tell us where he may be?"

"At work I believe. Why?"

"Do you know when he will be home?"

Allison shook her head. Police officers didn't really rattle her. She offered no information about Happy's whereabouts. She was fishing for her own information. She wanted to know what they wanted.

"Do you know a man named Damon Pearson?" the second officer asked.

"I went to school with a Damon Pearson," Allison replied.

"Did you know he was dead?"

"I had heard that. Shame, he was such a nice guy."

"Did your husband have anything to do with his death?"

"No."

"You were quick to answer that."

"Of course I am. I know my husband and he had nothing to do with whatever you are attempting to pin on him."

The officer stared at her trying to gauge her reaction. Allison knew how to stay calm under pressure. It wasn't the first time that she had been questioned by police about Happy. A scream from one of the babies ended the conversation.

"I have to get her, have a good day gentlemen," she said.

She returned to the living room to get Maia. The little girl was ready for a diaper change and a bottle. Allison calmly took care of her children while waiting on Gemma to drop off the older two. She relayed the message of the officers looking for Happy when Gemma came inside to check on her since she wasn't on the porch waiting when the boys were dropped off.

"I will let him know," Gemma told her.

"Thank you. I don't know if they are watching the house or attempting to bug phones. They seemed to think that Damon was murdered and Happy is their main target for it." Allison sighed.

"We will handle it. Don't worry."

Allison nodded. Gemma left the house and headed back to the garage. Happy was working in one of the bays. He glanced over as Gemma stood in the doorway.

"Cops were at your house today," she said.

"For what?" he asked.

"Asking questions about Damon Pearson."

"I had nothing to do with that. He was dead and cops were crawling all over when we got there."

"Well Al is pretty convinced they are trying to blame you for it."

"She ok?"

"Yeah she is all right. She didn't want to call in case they bugged the phone."

Happy nodded. He finished up his day and was headed for his bike when a police car pulled on the lot. He looked over at it.

"Mr. Lowman," one officer called.

"What do you want?" Happy asked.

"Damon Pearson."

"What about him?"

"Did you do it?"

"Do what?"

"Kill him?"

"Heard it was a suicide from the paper. Now y'all are saying it was a murder?"

"Mr. Pearson called police moments before he was murdered."

"Oh really?"

"He named you as his assailant."

"Interesting because I was nowhere near him. I haven't seen him since he tried to date my wife about a year ago."

"Well that gives you motive."

"No, seeing as how my wife is the one who came home to me and we are happily married, there is no motive there. We haven't spoken to or of Damon in months."

"So why would he name you the killer?

"Any more questions for me or my family need to go thru my attorney."

Happy got on his bike and left the lot to head home. Allison was waiting for him. He kissed her as he walked thru the door.

"Daddy," Emersyn ran to him.

He scooped her up and smiled. He kissed her little cheek.

"Hey princess," he said.

"Daddy, the cops was here," she said.

"I know baby. Mama and I will take care of it. You just get that list ready for Santa."

She nodded so fast that her little curls bounced. He chuckled and set her down. She ran off to find the toy catalog that had come in the mail. He turned to his wife. She smiled.

"Good distraction dad, that's gonna most likely cost Santa dearly." she said.

He shrugged. It didn't matter to him about the money. Allison slid her arms around her husband's neck. He leaned down and kissed her lips.

"It's going to be fine. Gemma is reaching out to Lowen to see what they have. She will field all questions about it for us." he said.

"How the hell are they claiming murder now?" she asked.

"I don't know but we had nothing to do with it. He was dead and the cops were there before we even got to Bakersfield."

Allison nodded. He sighed. She smiled at him.

"I love you baby," he said.

"I love you too," she replied.

He went to shower from the day of working in the garage.
