Happy got up the next morning with the three older kids. Allison was still asleep as far as he knew. He made breakfast and got the kids eating before making his way down the hall to check on her. She was in the middle of feeding the baby.

"Breakfast is ready," he said.

"I will be out soon," she replied.

He nodded. She looked down at the baby in her arms. He left the doorway, not in the mood to argue with her already. She sighed. She felt slightly bad about the night before. She didn't want him getting the wrong idea though.

Once Mason was done, she carefully carried him out of the bedroom. She wasn't surprised that Happy was right there to take him from her. She handed him over and went to eat. He sat down on the chair and stared down at the little boy in his arms. He was frustrated with their situation.

"Dad," Ryder said.

"What?" Happy asked.

"Can we go outside?"

"Yeah, stay out of the pool."

Ryder nodded. They had the pool fenced off so that the kids couldn't go in it without them knowing. It was one of Allison's demands when they bought the house. He sighed. He heard the two older boys go out the door. Emersyn came into the living room.

"Toons, daddy," she said.

He nodded and turned on cartoons for her. She climbed on to the arm of the chair he was sitting in and leaned against him. She was a daddy's girl thru and thru.

Allison stepped from the kitchen and looked into the living room. She just watched her husband for a moment with their daughter and their new son. The pain was bearable from the C-section thankfully.

"Daddy, you home?" Emersyn asked innocently.

"No baby," he said quietly.

"Why?"

"Babygirl, daddy made a mess."

"I help clean."

He chuckled slightly and kissed the top of her little head. She stared up at him with the same dark eyes he had.

"I love you, Em," he said.

"I wuv you," she giggled.

That night after the kids were in bed, he was called out for a club job. He made sure that Allison was all right before he left the house. She just waved him off on his way.

"Be safe, Hap," she called after him.

"Always baby," he called back.

He didn't return to the house the next morning because he had taken a bullet on the run. Ryder called his phone.

"What's up kid?" he asked.

"Mom is mad," Ryder told him.

"For what?"

"You weren't here to help this morning."

"I'm on my way."

He heard the phone pass hands.

"Don't bother, I got this over here. I don't need your help," Allison snapped.

"Jesus Al, cut me some slack," he sighed.

"Your bitches are obviously still more important than us."

"Actually, I got shot last night. Didn't exactly wanna bring that to you and the damn kids."

She hung up on him, not believing a word he said. His phone went off again. He sighed but answered it.

"Yeah," he growled into the phone.

"Sunday dinner is to celebrate the new baby," Gemma informed him.

"Good luck getting Al to agree to come."

"What did you do now?"

"Stayed in my dorm after getting shot."

"Oh lord Hap."

He got ready and left the clubhouse to head to Allison's house. She came out on the porch. He pulled up his shirt to show her that he wasn't lying. She just rolled her eyes and went back in the house. He followed her and was greeted with hugs by his children. He stared at his wife for a moment.

"Let's go talk," he said.

She shook her head. The tears were evident in her eyes already. He growled slightly at her stubbornness.

"Al, I ain't doing nothing like that now," he said.

"How do I know? Just because you told me?" she asked.

"Come to the bedroom and talk to me."

She rolled her eyes but followed him, surprised that he led her to the guest room. He closed the door behind them as the pain of being shot slowly set it.

"What happened?" she asked quietly.

"I got shot," he said.

"Obviously. But why?"

"It happened in Stockton. We were there checking on a business we got going on and there was a drive by."

"What business?"

"The club voted and expanded the escort service."

Allison nodded as the visions of him with one of the escorts began to run thru her head.

"Were you fuckin one of them?" she asked.

"What difference does that make at this point?" he growled.

She walked out of the bedroom, now that she had an answer. She picked up Mason and locked herself and the baby in her room. She couldn't help the tears. She had every intention of filing those papers now. He had obviously been with an escort which is why he was there. She refused to come out of the room for the day.

"Allison, we gotta get to the family dinner at Gemma's. It's for you and Mace," he called thru the door.

She ignored him completely. She wasn't about to play happy family with him. She hated that he was even doing this to their family. He knocked on the door again.

"I let you have your pity party all day but that's done now, let's go," he growled.

"Fuck off Hap," she replied.

"Stop being such a bitch. You wonder why I go other places to get it well guess what princess, it's this bullshit right here."

"So it's my fault that you can't keep your dick in your pants? Good to know."

"Get your ass out here or I'm breaking this fuckin door down."

"Just leave Happy."

He shouldered the door in and glared at her. She sat on the bed with the baby in her arms. He walked over and took their son.

"Get your ass up and get ready," he demanded.

"I'm not going," she replied.

"The hell you ain't. Now let's move."

She sighed heavily as he left the room with Mason. She could hear him grumbling to himself as he went to change Mason's clothes.
