Happy lay in bed next to his wife that night. She was snuggled into his side with one arm around his belly. He was running his fingers along her back.

"It could be easier just to make her disappear," he said softly.

Allison chuckled. He pulled her closer to him.

"It would be but it wouldn't be the legal way and that's the best way to handle shit with Maia, babe," she said.

He rolled his eyes even though he knew that she was right. He wanted what was best for the kids and him behind bars was not it. He knew he would have to be cautious because he started everything the legal way, it was going to have to remain the legal way. It would have been easier to make her just disappear, but he didn't want to have those questions from the kids. If it got to be too much, he knew how and who would help make it look like an accident. It had been obvious that she was on something when she arrived at their home.

"You are thinking too hard," Allison joked.

"Yeah?" he asked.

She nodded. He kissed the top of her head. The words that wanted to pour out of his mouth were just another apology for bringing the drama into their lives because he hadn't kept his dick in his pants. He knew she was tired of hearing it though. She had told him as much the last time he had apologized.

"Just chill out," she said.

He nodded and went back to tracing patterns on her back. The kids were all in bed and asleep. He kissed the top of Allison's head. She looked up at him.

"We aren't going to lose her," she said.

"I know babe," he replied.

"Then stop thinking that way."

"Actually I was trying to decide if we could get rid of her without me getting my hands dirty for once."

"I'm sure we could but we will save that for a last resort."

He nodded. She smiled up at him. He grinned down at her.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you too," she replied.

He loved that she generally had the same twisted thoughts that he did. He snuggled her into his side and kissed her head.

"Night babe," he said.

"Night Hap," she replied.

She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. They had prospects stationed outside their house in both the front and back yards to make sure they stayed safe. Happy wasn't taking any chances.

He startled awake glancing quickly at the clock. It was 3am. He realized why he woke up. He had gone to reach for Allison only to find her side of the bed empty.

"Babe, relax," Allison's soothing voice met his ears.

"Where did you go?" he asked as she got back in bed.

"Had to feed Maia and Mace."

He nodded. He still didn't understand how she had allowed him back in without divorcing him. She lay back down in his arms. He snuggled her close.

"If the guys could see you now," she joked.

"I would have to kill them all," he replied.

"So vicious."

"I don't get it."

"Don't get what?"

"How you have forgiven me?"

"I wouldn't say forgiven. I'm still pissed about the entire thing. Hap, you have been my home for majority of my life and as easy as it was for you to throw away for a quick fuck, I can't do that. I have to think about our kids and how this all affects them. They deserve their parents. We have been together for so long that I don't honestly know anything else."

"Do you regret it?"

"Being with you? No, I don't. You are my best friend. Even when you are destroying everything. I know my Happy is always in there."

"Babe, I so don't deserve you."

"No you honestly don't. I won't sugar coat shit for you Hap. I deserve so much more than what I have been thru but I will make the best of the situation and make our family work."

He nodded. He knew that people had no idea why she was still with him. He had been informed by his mother that Damon had come by looking for her which just pissed him off. He looked down at his wife again.

"Did you talk to anyone else other than Damon?" he asked.

"No, and I honestly didn't talk to him like that. We are friends. Or at least that's all I want to be with him. I was hit on a few times when I went out with Angela but nothing ever came of it." she replied, yawning.

"Go back to sleep, we can talk more later."

She closed her eyes as she rested her head against his chest. He lay there awake. Thoughts that he could have actually lost his wife plagued him. He stared up at the ceiling for a long time. It was as if Allison could sense his anxiety about it as she snuggled in more and placed her hand on his face.

He turned his head slightly to kiss her palm. She moaned softly making him instantly hard. She ran her hand down his body and settled it on the tent he was now pitching in his boxers and she lightly began rubbing.

"Baby girl, you are playing with fire here," he said quietly.

"Maybe I want to get burned," she replied with her eyes still closed.

"Allison."

She reached into his boxers to take hold of his shaft. He couldn't even hide the groan that passed thru his lips. She tilted her head so his lips could meet hers. She softly began to pump him with her hand eliciting more groans involuntarily from him.

"Turn your brain off," she whispered.

"I can't," he replied.

"Not even like this,"

She moved one of his large hands to her mound and showed him just how wet she was for him. He dragged his fingers thru her folds and then up to his mouth to taste her. Her eyes were open now as she watched him. She began to kiss his chest and make her way lower. He just kept his eyes on her to see what she was going to do to him.
