Happy got the word from Tara that the result on the baby two days after they got back. Caily was his child. Now he didn't know what to do but he knew that he was going to have to tell her about the baby. Lyssa was still gone and hadn't even called to checked on the baby. He walked over to Allison's place. She was doing laundry.

"What's up?" she asked as he walked in.

"I got a call from Tara," he said.

"And?"

"She got the results in."

"Ok?"

He sat down and dropped his head into his hands. She looked at him, taking a moment from folding clothes.

"She is yours ain't she?" she asked.

"Yeah," he said.

Allison nodded. She wasn't about to let on that her heart was broken. He looked up at her. She had to look away. He actually had tears in his eyes.

"I am so sorry, Allison. Baby, I fucked up," he whispered.

She nodded as she chewed on her bottom lip. She knew this was possible but she didn't know how she was going to handle it. He actually looked completely remorseful about it all.

"Al, I can't take care of a baby alone. I have no clue what I'm doing here," he said.

"Happy, don't do this to me," she whispered.

"I know I have no right to ask. I know I destroyed us. I don't know what to do. Lyssa completely walked out on her."

"Happy, I can't. There is no way I can look at that child and be ok. I wish that I could but I just can't. I don't want to take my anger and hurt out on an innocent child. She didn't ask for you two to make her. It's not fair to her that you two did what you did to us. I just can't do it."

He nodded slowly. Tears fell from his eyes knowing that this was it. Allison was done with him. He would never have his family back again. He looked at her as tears rolled down her face.

"I'm so sorry baby. I know I was the absolute worst husband in the world and I killed this whole relationship. I wish I could take it all back. I wish that I could change it all," he said.

They cried together until an alarm she had set alerted her that she needed to go pick up the boys from school. She looked at Happy.

"When do you plan on telling the kids about her?" she asked.

"It's gonna have to be soon. I bring her home tomorrow," he said.

"Keep an eye on Emersyn and Mace while I pick up the boys. Then you can tell them."

"Al."

"Better to do it now than to wait and drag it out."

He nodded. She headed out to pick up her boys. They had been excited to go back to school because they got to see the Teller boys.

"Hey mama," Ryder grinned climbing into the SUV.

"Hey baby," she smiled.

"Where are Em and Mace?"

"At home with your dad. He needs to talk to you guys when we get home."

"Whatever it is, Noah did it."

Allison chuckled at her son. He grinned at her. She figured it was best to let Happy tell them as it was his news to give. He was sitting in the same place that she left him when they got to the house. Ryder dropped his book bag on the couch.

"Hey dad. What's up?" Ryder grinned.

"Hey bud. You and Noah come sit for a minute." Happy said.

The two boys sat on the couch. They both wondered what the other one had done. Happy sighed heavily.

"So I need to let you both know that you have a new little sister," he said quietly.

"Mommy isn't having a baby," Noah said.

Ryder's face completely fell. He knew exactly where this baby came from and he didn't like it one bit. He stared at his dad for a moment before bolting from the room.

"Noah, this baby has a different mom than you do," Happy said.

"Why?" Noah asked.

"Because dad made a mistake."

Noah stared at him. Allison had gone after her oldest son. He had thrown himself on his bed and buried his face in his pillow.

"Ryder," she said.

"Mama, I don't want a sister by that lady," her oldest mumbled.

"I know you don't bud. Unfortunately that wasn't our choice to make. Your dad made that choice. I'm so sorry baby. I wish I could change it."

"So dad isn't coming home?"

"No Ryder, he isn't. He is keeping his home next door and you guys can go over anytime he is home."

Ryder shook his head.

"Not if she is there," he said.

"Bud, I don't know that she will be there. She left the baby at the hospital so I don't think she really wants to be a mom," Allison said.

"So why can't you be her mom then?"

"Sweetheart, that's grown up stuff."

Ryder made a face. Happy appeared in his doorway. Ryder glared at him.

"Bud, are you ok?" he asked.

"No, I don't want a sister from that lady. I want us to be a family again." the eight-year-old grumped.

"I'm sorry Ryder. I really am."

He shook his head and refused to look at his father again. Happy stood there not quite sure what to do. Ryder never shunned him about anything until now. Noah seemed to still be confused about the whole thing.

"I gotta head out and go fill out the paperwork. She left without filling out the birth certificate." Happy said.

"You planning on changing her name then?" Allison asked.

"Can I do that?"

"If she hasn't filled it out then, yes you can."

He nodded.

"I wouldn't know what to name her honestly," he said.

She nodded at him.  He was such a guy about things. He headed out of her house while she was left to attempt to clean up the mess that was now her children.
