Happy was the one to arrive a week later to take her and Mason to the house. Ryder and Noah were in school for the day. He had Emersyn with him though. He walked into the room with the infant seat.

"What are you driving?" she asked.

"The truck," he said.

"You have the base?"

"Yes Al. I took the extra one. That's what you wanted me to do right?"

"Yes."

He nodded and helped her get Mason ready to go. The nurse came in with the discharge instructions for them. They were released from the hospital.

"Ready?" Happy asked his daughter.

Emersyn looked up and nodded. They headed out of the hospital. Happy strapped Emersyn into her car seat and then took the infant seat from the nurse. He placed it on the base and ensured that it was locked in. He helped Allison into the truck and drove them all to the house. Allison was ready to be home. She was still really sore and healing. Happy was cautious on the drive to the house. He knew he would have to leave to pick up Ryder and Noah later.

"You think you'll be all right with just Mace while I pick up the boys from school?" he asked.

Allison glanced at him and nodded. It was a short drive to the house. He helped her out of the truck and then got the kids out. Emersyn ran in front of her mother and up the steps of the house. Happy carried the infant seat and unlocked the house. He set the seat with their new sleeping baby on the couch and then went back out to bring in the gifts that she had received while in the hospital. She was resting on the couch.

"I am gonna take Em and go get your meds as well as the boys," he said.

Allison nodded. She stayed on the couch and snuggled the baby while he was gone. He did exactly what he told her he was doing and returned to the house. She was asleep on the recliner with the baby against her chest. He just shook his head as he watched her for a moment.

"Can we have pizza for dinner?" Noah asked.

"Up to your mama," Happy told him.

"Pizza sounds great," Allison said, her eyes still closed.

"I will order it in a minute. Boys get your homework done."

He went to get Allison something to drink so she could take her antibiotics and her pain meds. She actually smiled at him when he handed them to her.

"Your mom called me while you were gone," she said.

"What did she want?" he asked.

"To congratulate us on the baby and find out things are going now."

"What did you tell her?"

"The truth. She already knows we are separated. Now that he is here, we can file,"

"I ain't signing shit. You and these kids are mine."

"These kids will always be yours Hap."

He shook his head and left the room.

"Dad," Ryder said.

"What bud?" Happy asked.

"Are you ok?"

"I will be fine. Is your homework done?"

"I need help."

"Ok I will be there in a minute."

Ryder nodded and went back in the house. Happy was standing on the back deck, trying to reign himself in before he lost his shit. He ordered dinner and went inside to help his oldest son. Ryder was doing really well and needed minimal help. Emersyn was watching cartoons in the living room.

The doorbell rang and he went to get it. Their dinner had arrived. He got the kids eating at the table and took a plate into Allison without a word. She had hurt him and she knew it. He hated it when she spoke about getting a divorce.

He rejoined the kids in the kitchen while they ate. His phone went off as he moved down the hall to get ready to give Emersyn a bath. He pulled it out of his pocket.

"What?" he growled into it.

"Hap, we got church," Jax said.

"Anything really important?"

"Not really."

"Then I won't be there. I'm at home with the kids. Allison came home today and needs the extra help until she heals from the C-section,"

"All right. You gonna be by to pick up your cash?"

"Yeah after the kids are in bed, I will."

He hung up and gave his daughter a bath before dressing her for bed. She ran down the hall to climb up next to her mother and baby brother. She rested against her mother while Happy got Noah into the bath. Once he was done, Happy moved to put Emersyn to bed. Noah snuggled with his mother for a while. Ryder headed for the shower. Once all three kids were down for the night, he walked into the living room.

"I gotta run to the clubhouse real quick. I will be back though," he said.

"Can't go a day without your whores?" Allison asked.

"Actually gotta pick up my pay from a job smartass."

She rolled her eyes.

"You need anything right now?" he asked.

She shook her head. He went to his bike that was in the driveway. He needed it right now. He pulled onto the lot and found Jax. He got his pay and grabbed a quick shot from the bar.

"Hey Hap," Candy rubbed up on him.

"What?" he growled at her.

"Wanna get in a round?"

"Nah, I got shit to do."

He walked out of the clubhouse and headed to his bike. Sierra was standing next to it. He rolled his eyes.

"Go away," he said.

"Baby you look so tense," she said, attempting seduction.

"Get away from my bike. I gotta go,"

"You gonna be back? I can help you with that tension."

She lightly ran her nails across his arm. He rolled his eyes and got on his bike. He took off without another word. He pulled back into Allison's driveway about ten minutes later. He found her still awake and nursing their infant.

"Told you," he said.

She rolled her eyes at him. He sat on the couch and just watched her.

"That's creepy, you know," she said.

He shrugged. He got up and went to the guest room. He wasn't in the mood to fight with her. He made sure that the bills were paid on his rental and then made sure the bills were paid for Allison and the kids. He didn't have much after that. But as long as they were taken care of, he didn't care.
