"why are you crying, kuya han?"

i jerked my head sideways and my eyes widened seeing lia, smiling at me so wide. i had to slapped my both cheeks to gained me back to reality! baka kasi nanaginip lang ako but those ended when i heard her precious laugh! yeah she laughed at my reactions! and that. . the realization hits me as happiness started to fill my whole body.

"oh my god lia, you're awake!" i exclaimed and instead of calling my mom to inform her that lia was awake, i stood up and threw my body to her to hug her tight. she welcomed me with open arms and she was laughing. . like a very happy kid. "God, i thought you're going to leave me." i hugged her tight still tears keep cascading through my cheeks.

i couldnt believe that lia was awake now! after a day straight of her asleep, finally she opened her eyes. i thought she'll going to leave me, and her family. i really really thought that i would lost her that easy. hindi ko kaya. i cant lose lia. she was like a sister to me. . she really were.

"i promised you that i will stay, right? and i want to witness you being a doctor in the future." i cried even harder when she said it. like she was engraving those on the stone. my heart was melting hearing her saying like that. i knew she loves me, but i had never imagine she'll still rooting for that promise. "i love you, kuya han. i wont going to leave you."

i freed the hug and cupped her cheeks. "stay with us, okay? stay with me." i dont know how do i looked like right now, i just wanted her to feel how much shes important to me that i couldn't make it without her. she grew fond in me so much. i really cant lose her.

she nodded. "i wont."

"jusko jeonghan you didnt even informed us that she's now awake!"

"im sorry."

lumayo agad ako to gave my mom a space to check lia. even her, she couldnt believe that she was now awake, after a day without any changes of her situations. while mom was checking her, i was staring at lia's figure trying to tell to my mind that lia would stay long. . that she'll keep her promise to me. that she'll stay. . that she'll going to fight and that, she'll live despite of how fatal her situation is. my mom and her staffs even her parents was really trying so hard to look for a healthy lungs for her to transplant. . and i hope that they could find one, one of these days.

a girl like lia deserve to liveㅡno, every children, every kid, and every human deserves to live.

after mom checked her, lia's family came and thats my cue to finally went out of the scene. i bade lia my goodbyes and see you laters then i kissed her forehead before leaving, stalking my mom from behind her until we went to the information desk. she was alone since other nurses and doctors was also in their duty to check other patients. daniel was asleep so i was free to lurk around the area to see other kids that was being admitted here.
