areum hugged me right after i entered seungcheol's car and i hugged her back so tight because i do really miss her so much. even though we havent shared some long time together, but my love for every kids was something that i couldnt control. after she freed the hug, i cupped her chubby cheeks and squeezed it while she was laughing. and by cupping her cheeks, thats when i realized that she resembled seungcheol the most. both of them are such a cutie.

"why are you wearing like that? arent you cold, doctor?" she asked and she pointed out my polo using her lips. how cute she is in my eyes.

i smiled. "there has an ongoing party at our backyard and i needed to be presentable." i answered and pampered her face with air kisses. she looked so happy and squishy right now mostly that the tip of her nose and even her cheeks was red due to the cold. "why are you both here, by the way? ang lamig sa labas."

yeah, the snow was very thick right now since it was in the middle of winter. i was wondering paano nakarating yung guests nila mommy dito saamin without having a hard time driving their cars on the highway. for sure it was covered by snow. and nagtataka din ako paano tong dalawang to nakapunta dito. arent they supposed to spend this night with their family?

seungcheol pursed his lips. "i just want to escape the reality and areum came with me."

my brows furrowed. "escape the reality?""

"yeah, uncle cheollie and my father was having an argumenㅡ"

"im just bored inside the house and wala naman akong gagawin so why dont i visit you instead, right?" seungcheol cutted off areum words making my furrowed on my brows even knitted.

i exchange my glances from seungcheol to areum and i saw how areum pursed her lips like as if she said something she shouldn't and seungcheol was scolding her through the way he looked at her. as long as i wanted to ask further because it made me piqued and curious and even confuse but i choose to shut my mouth from uttering some words that might be connected to what both of them knew. i know i shouldn't get involved with whatever they have inside their family and it was some kind of personal. . so i rather shut my mouth.

and besides, i dont have any place in seungcheol's life to know what was happening inside their family.

a defeaning silence filled the whole area and i could feel the tension between areum and seungcheol but areum kept on smiling at me whenever our gazes had to met on the way. seungcheol was on the drivers seat, looking away as his right hand was on the steering wheel while the other was leaning against the sliding window. hindi ko alam paano magsasalita because i could feel that seungcheol wasnt in a good mood right now and what he reasoned out was true, that he was trying to escape from reality.

i heave a sighed. "i-im hungry. have you guys already ate your dinner?" thats the only way to end all of it plus i could feel that i was getting deaf time to time because of the silence. and oh, im starving already.
