i stared at the prematured baby inside the incubator not because i was monitoring her, but because i just you know? want to stare at this cute little creature to remind myself that maybe it was just a bad day, not a bad life or sowhatever and this baby for sure could help me relieved from the stress i was feeling. a smile crept into my face when i saw how she moved her body and was even kicking like as if she was still inside her mothers womb. and even though her face wasnt been well formed, you could see how cute she is.

"hi, baby." i even waved my hand in small font i could ever had like as if she could see me. i heave a sighed. "hang in there, okay? you are not alone in this battle, and your doctors will do everything to get you out of there. . please be strong for your mom too."

"do you want to name her?"

i almost jumped in surprised when i heard someone from behind me then i heard her laughed prolly she witnessed my reactions. i almost glared at her but i remember that she was one of our patients and she was the mother of the baby i was talking to. nakakahiya lang because she saw me talking to her daughter like as if she could hear, understand and would answer to me. her mother went closer to me using her wheelchair. she cant walk yet since bagong tahi yung nasa ano nya. .

when she came closer to me, she stared at her daughter the way her husband stared at the baby the last time, the only difference was she seemed calm like she knew they would get out of here, soon. she raised her hand until it reached to her daughters arm inside the incubator and i saw she carassed it with so much gentle and care. . and by that, i had remember how i used to do it to jiwon when she was still a baby. every newborn that was coming into our hospital, always reminds me of how jiwon looked like before.

they all looked cute and precious.

"name her for me doctor yoon, please?" then she looked at me with pleading eyes.

i smiled. "yewon. . son yewon. was that okay?"

she nodded. "yes, beautiful. . just like you." i dont know what to say when she compared me to that so i just smiled at her. "hello our pretty yewon. . hang in there, okay? this pretty doctor will do everything to get you out of here soon."

after talking to the baby, i walked her mother back to her room and update her about her situation base on the chart my mom had updated then after that, i went to another patient and monitored their heart beats and even their vitals. there were only few patients for today because some of them are already ready to discharged this afternoon and all of it was my patient so wala na akong gagawin except if they paged me or if may bagong dadating.

i just waited for the lunch break of neuro department so that i could talk to sowon and hyunjin the same with sejeong and aaron who are both busy with their own patient plus sejeong was tasked to be with my mom the whole day. when the time ticks at eleven in the morning, i paged all of my friends to gather at the cafeteria and balak ko na sila muna kausapin ko before my other co-interns about nga don sa paglipad namin sa spain which was happening tomorrow. geez. up until now i still couldn't believe that i will be one of their international interns.

the moment i went to the cafe carrying my tray of food, i went to where sowon was along with hyunjin tapos sabay dumating yung dalawa na nag-aaway na naman. they arent done with the deal that they have the last time. i sat next to sowon who are busy reading a book, she was also wearing her glasses and her hair was in a bun. hyunjin was just laughing with the two new comers while sipping to his coffee. all of us has the same uniform, but different name plate.
