my alarm clock had rang almost five in the morning that made me left no choice but to stood up and force myself to wake up as early as that plus i remember that it wasn't our hospital back in korea and i don't want to disappoint my auntie even though she said that it was fine to get tardy since the hospital was just meters away from the guests house. i cleaned myself for twenty minutes then i wore my casual yet decent clothes and i applied something on my face even to my lips not to get it choppy and dry.

when I went out of my room, all of them, or i mean, my team was gathered at the dinning and even though it was still early, you could hear them being loud already but when they noticed i was awake, they tried to control their voices though they had already knew i was so used to it. kay sejeong palang talo na sila. i went closer to them and saw that dami was cooking something or more like, breakfast and i don't know if it was for all of us or only by herself so i brewed my own coffee instead than asking her if i was included with what she was doing.

they ate their breakfast for about fifteen minutes only then were good to go that quick since we all know we have to be at hospital before other patients could be. we met with my auntie and her husband at the entrance of the hospital, we introduced ourselves though they already knew who we are ever since and we greeted them using this country's language kahit hindi ko alam kung tama ba yung nasabi ko, oh well sejeong didn't corrected me so i bet i was right.

"i will be your resident for the whole month of you being an intern here. first and foremost, inside this hospital, i don't consider anyone as my relatives and no one can call me using my given name." doctor yoonㅡyes, my auntie would be our boss for this whole month and as far as i remember, she was like my mom but my mom was ahead of her about two years. "don't do anything that may harm your resident, do as what i said, do as what i've tasked you to do."

"kim, you'll be with doctor gomez at the nursery. lee along with kwak you'll be with me for the rest of the day. park patient in room 103 second floor and yoon, stay on the pit, do as what other patient needs.. ill page you once the engineers and architects had arrived on the site. let's go people!"

the five of us exchange glances then we all nods our head before we separate our ways to do our tasks. i immediately went to the pit and was welcomed with many patients but since i was under pediatric, i went straight to this family on the side of this area with their children throwing tantrums and i heard that the kid keeps on convincing her parents that she was fine and she doesn't need surgery when all i can see is nothing... but needed to do an actual surgery because you could see whats wrong with her and why they were here.

"hello, im doctor yoon and i will be your doctor until you get better but what happened to you..." i stopped from asking when i saw using my both eyes that this kid has a severe wounds on her legs and you could see what's under her skin already.. but what made me wonder was, she wasn't bleeding on the outside." what's your name, age and can you tell me what happened?"

i was writing her info on the chart i was holding while her parents was telling a story of what happened to their daughter that she gone has a severe wounds like that. they said that the kid was playing on the outside and she acted like a hero herself so she saved other kids pero sya yung napuruhan nang matindi making her legs had cutted like as if she had been screwed by some criminals. they kept on arguing because the kid doesn't really want to stay here that long and she said she was fine.
