PS :: this was meant to be posted back on december 18 for it was the exact date of its anniversary, but wasn't able due to as it just ended right before that date that's why i adjusted its special chapter for it was also my new years present ~ happy new year everyone! ❤️

TAFL Special Chapter :: A Year Since We Waited.

its been a year since a two person learned the same thing from each other, that patience is a virtue, good things comes to those who wait and when it is finally your time, you will know why the wait is necessary.

"hong jimin, 1 year old boy. head fracture and is bleeding externally."

jeonghan was about to ask further more questions to 911 while he was wearing his gloves ready to check the newly arrived patient but he stopped right after he heard the name of the baby and recognize who he is and when he looked at the one year old baby boy who is crying so hard while sitting on the white bed of the pit with an unknown woman in her 40's soothing the baby, right side of the forehead was bleeding due to the head fracture as what the 911 said. the moment his eyes went to the baby boy, he admit internally that his heart started to race in nervousness mostly after seeing how the baby was bleeding a little bit too much than just a mere wounds and was continously crying. 

"what happened to him?" jeonghan's hand was trembling when he started to check the baby while listening to the woman this baby were with. as per she said, the baby was playing alone at the salas then the next thing she knew, she heard a loud thud and after a second, jimin was already crying and was bleeding. "where were you that time? aren't you supposed to watch over him? does his parents knew what happened?" 

the woman sobbed. "i was busy doing the laundry... j-jimin's quite and behave all the time so i left him there for a moment... and yes, ive informed his parents already."

"jimin! jimin!" 

all of them jerked their heads on the very familiar voice of a man who are approaching this side of pit and was calling for the baby boy named, jimin. jeonghan saw how joshua rushed through his son and hugged him so tight like as if he didnt saw jimin for quite some days now, then he freed the hug to check his bleeding son.. and then again, jeonghan saw how joshua's face had turned into a hint of worriedness, madness, pain, any emotions that can described him after seeing his son in that kind of situation. joshua bit his lower lip as he swallowed hard trying to control his emotions of hurting the woman on the side which luckily he did because he know, those were useless right now. 

joshua jerked his head to jeonghan. "i-is my son.. i-is he going to be fine?" 

jeonghan nodded. "yes, he will be. but i need to get him upstairs for the C.T., ran some tests and finally close up the cut on his right forehead." while he was saying it, he was gesturing the interns around him to move already so they could prevent the bleeding of this one year old baby. "just wait at the waiting area and call seokmin.. ill update you once everything was fine."

"y-yeah, he's on the way already."

jeonghan nodded again before he gestured that he was going to take joshua's son to get to the upstairs already. though joshua doesn't want to let go of his son, but he knows enough that he have to so he let jeonghan and some nurse to get his son upstairs. while they are inside the elevator, the nurse was trying so hard to prevent the baby for bleeding too much using the first aid kit she applied while jeonghan kept on shushing and was soothing jimin..
