"doctor yoon! finally i saw you, ive been looking for you about an hour now." 

i had to stopped walking down the long hallway of this hospital when sejeongs intern was rushing through me and it seemed like she ran lapses just to look for me all over the hospital. she was also panting prolly catching her breathe and her hair was somewhat disheveled for i dont know the reasons.

my brows furrowed. "what is it, doctor shin?" 

she heave a sighed. "i really need your help. there's a girl, she's 15 years old with severe scoliosis from vater syndrome. shes here for thoracoplasty because her ribs are pressing against her lungs, and she's already had two spinal fusions and segmental spinal instrumentation.. " she catched her breathe while i was staring at her, listening to what she was saying. "segmental spinal instrumentation that didnt work. she bent over 90 degrees which clearly she needs help."

"and you are the best surgeon we could think." 

"where is she?" 

she didnt answer me and just told me to follow her. while we were walking, i was asking her if she had ran an x-ray already or the things she've done before she called for me which im partly happy that she already did what i had asked her. they just really need my help since they didnt know what to do plus i remember that almost all surgeons right now was busy, even the chief can't accommodate them right now.

once we reach an x-ray room to where her results was, i looked at this patients x-ray using the ultraviolet frame that was on the wall and my brows furrowed seeing nothing but the problems and the issues within her spinal cord. i stared at it for a moment before i went out of the room and proceed to meet that patients and her guardians, carrying her x-ray results. doctor shin was following me and she was asking what would i do but i just told her i will do whatever i could.

"hello, soyeon this is doctor yoon and hes gonna be the one who will operate you." doctor shin had introduced me and when the girl had met my eyes, i smiled at her to ease the pressure she might be feeling. 

i cleared my throat. "soyeon, ive looked at your case history, and i know you've been through a lot of very painful and very unsuccessful surgeries, but if you're okay with it, i might help you."

soyeons brows furrowed. "what kind of help exactly, doctor?" 

i smiled. "i think, i might get you standing up straight."

and with what i said, i saw how soyeons face shifted into something like she wouldn't want to believe what i just uttered while the interns inside this room including sejeong had smiled at her after hearing what i said and her mother was only staring at me, having the same reactions as her daughter. what ive said wasnt impossible, im confident i can do that kind of sugery and i might help her with what she needs. i wont utter if im not and if i couldnt do those things.

the side of soyeons lips rose up. "are you kidding me?" 

i smiled at her again then i showed her x-ray results i was holding. "you see this?" then i traced my forefinger on her spinal that was in severe curved already. "i'd removed it for you."
