Birth Complications

Thank you so much for the request, this can be considered as the part two of Christmas Present, but you don't have to read it to understand this imagine, also it's pretty long so I'm sorry about that, I hope you enjoy it! Previously on Christmas Present

"I'm going to be a dad!" he screamed as he put you down and kissed you softly, cupping your cheeks with his hands

"I'm going to be a grandma!"

"And I'm going to be an auntie!"

"I'm going to be an uncle!" the rest of the Dolan family screamed excitedly at the fact that you were pregnant

Grayson kneeled down and lifted you shirt up a bit, now understanding why your dress didn't fit and why you hadn't been feeling so well

He kissed your tummy softly, "You're going to be so loved here, I promise I'll be the best dad I can be, I'll carry you when you cry and I'll change your diapers and I'll bathe you and feed you and protect you and mommy from any harm" he whispered as you softly touched Graysons hair, feeling happy and blessed to finally start a family with your loving husband

Nine Months Later

You and Grayson had just come back from grocery shopping, although you just stayed in the car since Grayson didn't want you to walk around for too long and risk your water breaking

Over the past nine months your baby bump had grown bigger and bigger by the day, week and month

Grayson and you even decided to take a picture every day so that in the end you could create a time lapse video of when your baby is born

"Y/N, baby, I can carry that" Grayson said as he quickly took the bag out of your hands while he carried twenty other bags

"Grayson Bailey Dolan, just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I can't help with things" you sighed once again as you both made it inside the house

"I know, I just...I don't want anything bad to happen to you or the baby" he said as he put the stuff down

You sighed and hugged your husband from behind, nuzzling your head against his back

"Grayson I-" you stopped as soon as you felt your water break, Grayson too felt it as you froze

"M-my, my water Grayson, my water broke!" you screamed in shock

"Ok, ok, hold on let me get the bag with the baby stuff!" Grayson said as he ran to the baby's room and grabbed the bag quickly

He swiftly picked you up, not caring about him getting wet, and took you to the car and drove to the hospital

"Ma'am, ma'am, my wife! My wife's water broke!" Grayson said clearly panicked as you were already feeling contractions in your stomach

"Let's get her on a bed and to a room so the doctor can take a look at her" the nurse said as she and her coworkers got her on a hospital bed and took her to a room

Grayson followed quickly as they took you to a room for the doctor to inspect quickly

"Ok, no need to panic ma'am, you're only dilated five centimeters which isn't too much, when you're at ten centimeters then we can start the birth process, as long as you don't lose all the water in the baby's sac, everything should be fine" the doctor assured as he left you and Grayson in the room

You sighed as the baby was safe, "thank goodness" you said with a smile on your face as Grayson held your hand tightly

"Yea" he whispered
