Mrs.Dolan's Birthday Surprise

"Grayson! Can I borrow your shirt?" you asked as you had already started putting on one of his shirts

"Sure babe!" he spoke back as he was packing some snacks in a bag

You and Grayson had flown to New Jersey to celebrate Mrs.Dolan's birthday, but had decided not fly directly to the town they lived and fly to a town a little further away to have a mini road trip to the house

"What do you think?" you asked as you walked out and showed your outfit

"I think you look really beautiful" he spoke and kissed your temple

"Ready to go?" he asked

You were about to nod when you felt a sudden urge to throw up

You ran to the bathroom and let out all your breakfast as Grayson chased after you and pulled your hair up so it wouldn't get dirty and patted your back softly

"Let it all out baby" he encouraged, "Are you sure you don't want to see a doctor?" he asked

"I'm sure" you croaked out as you flushed the toilet and went to wash out your mouth

Soon enough you were both on your way to visit Mrs.Dolan, music blasting through the speakers as you both reminisced on the songs, singing your lungs out

"Grayson, did you bring pickles?" you asked

"Pickles? I-umm, no I didn't bring pickles"

"Could we get some, please?" you asked sweetly, making Grayson agree and pull over, but that was just the beginning of the journey

Every half hour you had different cravings, making Grayson pull over and get your cravings

"Babe, if we keep pulling over, we're going to take forever to get to ma's house" he chuckled as he left from the gas station

"Sorry, I promise it's the last time!" you said as you started to eat a brownie with cheese

"Do you really like that?" he asked curiously

"It tastes good" you said simply

Soon enough, you both got there and were greeted by Mrs.Dolan, Ethan and his girlfriend

"Hey ma!" Grayson said as he walked up to the house and you held the gift you brought in your hands

"Sweetheart! You're both here!" Mrs.Dolan said as she walked out to welcome you both

"How was the trip? Ethan asked

"Long, Y/N kept wanting weird food combinations and cravings" Grayson chuckled as he walked in to use the restroom

Mrs.Dolan wondered to herself curiously if you were possibly pregnant, your tummy did look a bit rounder compared to last time she had seen you, but she didn't want to make any assumptions

Ethan's girlfriend on the other hand, knew right away that you were pregnant, but decided to keep it to yourself in case you were trying to supply Grayson and Mrs.Dolan

"Everyone ready for the cake then?" asked Ethan as Grayson walked up behind you and kissed your cheek sweetly

"Yep!"

You all walked to the kitchen and sang happy birthday to Mrs.Dolan and watched her blow out the candles and cut the cake so everyone could have a piece

Soon enough everyone migrated to the living room so Mrs.Dolan could open the gifts

Ethan and his girlfriend had gotten her a new coffee maker, making Mrs.Dolan really happy

"What did we get my mom?" whispered Grayson into your ear as you had been the one to go gift shopping

"You'll find out soon enough, go sit next to your mom" you encourages as Grayson sat next to his mom and started helping her open the gift that was from you and Grayson

Mrs.Dolan got the gift out and it was a shirt that said 'Most Loved Grandma'

Mrs.Dolan looked up at you with tears of happiness in her eyes, "Am I really?" she asked with a shaky voice as tears also formed in your eyes from the happiness

Truth was, you were pregnant, you had been waiting till this day to tell everyone that you were expecting Grayson's child, not even Grayson knew

"Oh my goodness" she said as she got up and hugged you, "Congratulations sweetheart" she said

"Thank you" you spoke as you hugged her back tightly

"I-I'm going to be a dad?" Grayson asked as you pulled away from the hug and nodded at Grayson, with happy tears in your eyes

"Yes, you're going to be a dad" you smiled

"I-I'm going to be a dad...I'm going to be a dad! Oh my gosh I'm going to be a dad!" he said happily as he picked you up in his arms and twirled you around and set you down, hugging you tightly

"Ma! You're going to be a grandma! And you guys are going to be aunts and uncles!" Grayson spoke as he hugged his mom

"This was the best birthday surprise, thank you so much Y/N" spoke Mrs.Dolan

"I'm just happy to be able to give you a grandson with Grayson by my side and as the dad" you said as you looked at Grayson and he looked back at you

"Thank you so much for carrying my child Y/N, I love you so, so much"
