Traitor

A/N: This was a request from @aboomdelacaca32. This was actually from the song Traitor by Olivia Rodrigo, but with a twist, I hope y'all like it!

g/n= girl's name (who you don't like)

f/n= friend's name

"Where were you this time?" you asked as you waited in the kitchen counter, three in morning

"What are you doing up so late?" asked Grayson as he put his stuff on the counter

"Answer the question Grayson!" you snapped

"...I was just out with Ethan...and g/n" he muttered the last part

"Again?! How many times have I told you she's bad news!"

"I don't see what you have against her, she's a great person!"

"She's not! She manipulates people into her doing, she does it all the time...I don't want to lose her to you Grayson, please" you pleaded as you walked up to him and held his hands in yours

Grayson sighed as he had to reassure you not to worry about g/n taking him away from you

"You're worrying too much about it, you're paranoid about it, but don't worry, you've loved me at my worst and at my best, I wouldn't dare go to someone else" he promised

"Are you sure? Promise me you won't leave me Gray...that you won't leave me for her, please" you pleaded

"Hey," he whispered as he lifted your chin with his finger, to have you look at him, "I promise I won't leave you, not for her or anyone, her and I are just friends, you and I are forever" he said as he pecked your lips and hugged you tightly

Everything seemed perfect then, you in Grayson's arms as he hugged you tightly

But two day, those promises were broken, and two weeks later, he ended up becoming her new boyfriend

"He's a traitor" You mumbled to your best friend f/n as you had your head on her lap while you both watches dramas on the tv of her apartment

"Traitor? But he didn't cheat on you?" she said trying to make it see that Grayson wasn't all that bad of a person to actually cheat on you

"He promised I was it for him, then broke up with me the next day and got with g/n in two weeks, if he had actually loved me, it would've taken longer, or he wouldn't have gotten with her at all" You said as tears threatened to spill down your face again

"Maybe he's trying to get over you?"

"Who's side are you on?" you questioned

"Yours! I'm on your side, I just don't see why Grayson would break up with you so suddenly is all"

Giving you something to think about

"I wonder if they're sleeping in the same bed Grayson and I made together" you kept talking, needing to let it all out while f/n listened while running her fingers through your hair, trying to calm you

"You know, he took her to my favorite cafe two days ago? When we were out eating, he looked so happy, showing her off like some new trophy"

"But he knows you love that place!"

"Yea...but maybe he didn't care, he didn't care hurting me further, emotionally scarring me more...I'm tired" you mumbled

"We still have that party to go to" your friend said as she shook you, "You need to forget about him"

"Can't we just stay here in our pajamas and with ice cream"

"Nope"

You and f/n got ready and drove to the party
