Easter Eggs

A/N: Happy Easter everyone!

d/n= daughter's name

s/n=son's name

"Is uncle E going to come soon?" your seven-year old asked as she tugged on your dress

"Yes sweetie, he'll be here in a moment, can you do me a favor and go get daddy for me?"

D/n nodded and ran to the living room after having been in kitchen with you

"Roar! Daddy's a big bad dinosaur, he's going to destroy the whole city"

"I will stop you!" spoke s/n, standing heroically in front of the cardboard city Grayson had made for him

"Oh no, a hero! I will have to destroy him too!"

"You'll never get me you evil dinosaur! Pew, pew, pew!" said s/n as he tackled Grayson to the ground, shooting him with his fake laser gun

"Oh no! The hero beat me!" Grayson played along

"Daddy, mommy is calling for you" spoke d/n as she entered the living room

"But daddy is playing heroes and villains with me!" grunted s/n

"But we have to clean up now, remember that uncle E is coming soon, d/n, sweetheart, help your brother take his stuff to his room"

"But why me?" whined d/n

"Because I said so, now go on you two" spoke Grayson as his kids started picking up the toys from the living room and Grayson made his way over to you in the kitchen

Grayson crept up behind you as you were chopping potatoes and he wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed your cheek sweetly

"You called for me"

"Yes, we need to put the candy in the eggs so the kids can look for them in the backyard later" you said as you put the potatoes in a bowl, next to the lasagna

"I put the candy in the eggs last night, don't worry about it, you need to relax a bit honey" Grayson said as he pulled you closer to him and kissed up and down your neck

"Gray, I love you, but I need to finish the meal or we-" you said but got caught off guard as you got off of Grayson's grasp and tripped on a toy in the kitchen, making you try to hold to the side of the counter, only to bring the lasagna down to the floor, "...or we won't have dinner" you finished as you sighed and put your hands to your head

"Hey, it's ok-"

"No, it's not ok! It took me two whole hours to make that!" you said, clearly frustrated

Grayson kneeled down in front of you and just held you in his arms while you breathed in and out, trying to calm yourself down

"Mommy! Uncle E is here!" spoke d/n as she and s/n ran to the door to open the door

"Ah, my favorite niece and nephew!" spoke Ethan as he set down two boxes and picked up d/n and s/n in his arms and twirled around with them, "Where are your parents?"

"They're in the kitchen" responded s/n

"E, can you take them to the back for a little bit please? We'll be right there" Grayson spoke from the kitchen

"Sure thing!"

You looked up at Grayson and kissed his cheek sweetly, "Thank you for holding me" you said as you looked at what used to be your lasagna and started picking it up with Grayson's help

"Hey guys, I brought pizza!" Ethan said as he and your children had started eating the pizza already

"Ethan, you're a lifesaver" you sighed happily as you threw the lasagna away, "Now, you kids stay here while daddy and I put the eggs outside, and no cheating" you said as you took the basket of eggs outside with Grayson

"Did you hide the golden egg?" you asked Grayson as he nodded and showed you the bush he put it in, making you chuckle and kiss him

"You're amazing, you know?" Grayson said as he looked between your eyes and lips, leaning down and kissing you sweetly

"Stop making out love birds and let us collect the eggs already!" spoke Ethan from the back door, making your children chuckle as they held their baskets in their hands

"Alright, ready...set...go!" you said as Ethan and your kids started collecting the eggs, Ethan going at a dangerously fast pace

"Gray, you need to slow Ethan down or he isn't going to leave the kids with many eggs to collect" you whispered to your husband as he nodded and without thinking just tackled Ethan to the ground and started tickling him

"What are you doing bro?!" Ethan said in between laughters

"Sabotaging you for my kids" he said as Ethan then flipped him over and started tickling Grayson back

"Kids, daddy's in trouble, let's go save him!" you said as your kids tackled Ethan to the ground

"We saved daddy!" they said as they laid on top of their uncle E

"Did anyone find the golden egg?" you asked as s/n nodded and got it out of his basket, opened it and revealed twenty-dollars

"Wow! I'm going to buy ice-cream with this!" he said as you all chuckled and ended the night making smores
