A Romantic Date

"He usually gets his hungry around five, so I packed some of his favorite baby foods" you explained to Mrs.Dolan who carried you seven month old son, s/n in her arms

"Alright, that-"

"And sometimes gets a little fussy when he doesn't have his teddy bear with him" You interrupted unknowingly to Mrs.Dolan

"I'll make sure he-"

"And usually after he's done eating he gets sleepy, but he needs to poop before falling asleep or he'll have a tummy ache at night"

"Then-"

"There's also some baby wipes in here that-"

"Babe, I'm pretty sure my mom knows how to take care of a baby, she did have three of them" chuckled your husband as your face blushed red at your embarrassment

"I-I'm so sorry Mrs.Dolan"

"It's alright sweetheart, I know how it feels like being worried for your baby, now you two to have a fun date and it's ok if you guys decided to have the night to yourselves too" she winked at you as you chuckled nervously

You and Grayson made your way out and sat in the vehicle for a moment

"They'll be ok" reassured Grayson as he took your hand in his

"I know" you smiled, "so, where are you going? This is the first time we have to ourselves since having s/n"

Grayson kissed your temple, "it's a surprise, but I'm sure you'll love it"

And with that Grayson drove to the date destination that he hoped you would like

On the way there, you both belted out to the songs on the radio, recognizing some old classics while being confused with a few new songs

"I guess we're getting too old for these new songs huh" you chuckled

"What do you mean too old? We're at the cusp of our life!" Grayson exclaimed jokingly as you both laughed

Soon enough you saw where you were heading due to all the views you saw in the sky

A hot air balloon date

You gasped as you turned to look at Grayson who was already smiling at your reaction

Soon enough you both got to the destination and were greeted to the person who would be controlling the hot air balloon

"I'm so nervous, but excited!" you squealed as you hugged Grayson's side and he wrapped his arm around you

You both walked into the basket as the conductor started up the hot air balloon and started rising from off the ground

You squealed and hid yourself in Grayson's chest, making him laugh as he lifted your chin and kissed your lips softly before having turn to look down

The view was phenomenal, the different color hues of the sky as the sun was going down was definitely a sight that could take your breath way

"Wow" you said in awe of all the beauty

Grayson looked out to the view and then back at you

You were everything to him, the rock that he could lean on when things got tough and the one to help him get back on his feet

Grayson hugged you from behind as placed his chin on your shoulder

"Do you like it?" Grayson asked

"I love it Gray!" you responded as you turned around and pecked his lips over and over again before turning back around to enjoy the rest of the view

"Ah, young love" spoke the conductor to himself as he himself reminisced the times he would take his own wife to hot air balloon dates

The ride ended and Grayson thanked the conductor who controlled the hot air balloon

"Where to now?" you asked as you buckled your seat

"Home and food from your favorite restaurant"

"You know, I'm starting to realize I didn't really take any part on this date idea, you came up with everything" you chuckled

"I'm fine with that, as long as you're enjoying yourself and I can see that beautiful smile of yours" flirted Grayson as he kissed your hand, making you blush

"G-Grayson!"

"I love that I can still make you blush, makes me feel like we're dating again"

"I like the way we are now, cause marriage is way better than dating" you chuckled

Soon enough you and Grayson got home with food from your favorite restaurant

You let out a big sigh as you watched Grayson taking out the food from the bag

He'd definitely grown more mature since you both got married and he became especially cautious when you got pregnant with s/n

That's what you admire about your husband, he was always adaptable to any situation

"I can feel you staring at me" Grayson spoke up as he got the drinks out of their containers

You walked around and wrapped his arms around your waist before putting your own arms around his neck

"I love you" you whispered and pecked his lips

"I love you too" he replied as he went down to peck his lips but you captured his lips against yours once more, slightly pulling his hair causing a groan erupt from his persona

"I don't think I'll ever get tired of your kisses" Grayson said breathlessly as you stepped back and smiled at him

"I hope you don't, cause you're stuck with me"

"And you with me"
