Delayed Christmas Present

Previously on Christmas Rush

"So, did you guys have fun?" asked Cameron's husband

"Lots of fun" Grayson said as he wrapped his arms around your waist from the back and peppered your neck with kisses

"We had so much fun that there may be a second kid running around here in a few months" you laughed

"TMI Y/N!" Cameron squealed as everyone laughed

"We'll have to see if there really will be another kid running around here soon then huh?" Grayson whispered into your ear

"Mhm" you said

Two Months Later

"Dada, is mommy ok?" d/n asked as she heard you vomit once again into the toilet, early in the morning

"She's ok, finish your vegetables d/n"

D/n nodded as she started finishing her food, meanwhile, Grayson went to the bathroom to go check on you

He found you hovered over the toilet on your knees breathing in deeply

"Sweetie, are you ok?" Grayson asked softly as he squatted down, rubbing your back softly

You wiped your mouth with your sleeve and nodded slowly, "yea, I probably just have an upset stomach" you said with a tired smile

Then you both heard a knock on the door

"Auntie Cameron and uncle c/h/n are here!" Yelled out d/n

"Go ahead and open the door sweetie!" Grayson called out as he helped you up

"I don't think it's a good idea to walk to the park today Y/N, you look ill"

"But we promised Cameron and c/h/n that we would go out with them and d/n today" you stubbornly said as you brushed your teeth from the vomit

Grayson sighed out and went to go greet his sister and her husband

Soon enough everyone was out the door and taking a stroll to the park

"D/n, I'll race you to the monkey bars!" said c/h/n as d/n started running with him behind her

Cameron, you and Grayson chuckled as they saw the two race, c/h/n letting the little girl win

You stood to the side as you and Cameron conversed while watching the boys and your daughter playing in the playground

While you conversed with Cameron you started getting light headed

"Y/N are you ok?" Cameron as worried as you held your head with your hands, your eyes closed

This caught Graysons attention as he turned over to look at you, he started walking to you, but soon enough you had fainted and he ran to catch you before you could fall to the ground

"Y/N! Y/N, sweetie what's wrong?" Grayson asked worries as he tried to wake you, panic rising in Grayson's eyes

"I need to take her to the ER (emergency room), please look after d/n" Grayson told his sister as he ran back home with you in his arms, luckily the park was only about two minutes away from your home

Grayson sped to the hospital, hoping that you would wake up soon

He soon took you out of the car and ran to the ER asking for help since you had fainted, luckily there weren't any people waiting and they could care to you quickly

"Sir, I'm going to have to ask to stay calm while we figure out what's wrong" a nurse spoke to Grayson as he nodded and he laid you on the bed and they connected you to an oxygen tank for support

An hour went by as they had done scans and blood works on you, and you had woken up, confused as to why you were at the hospital, fortunately Grayson had explained everything to you

"I was so worried when I saw you fall" Grayson explained as he held your hand in both of his, running his thumbs over the back of your hand

"Hello, may I come in?" The doctor asked as you and Grayson nodded

"Well, everything seems to be fine, your brain wasn't receiving the oxygen necessary to carry both of your twins, so we're going to prescribe you with some vitamins that should help circulate the flow of oxygen" the doctor explained as he looked at his notes

Your jaw dropped at hearing what the doctor said

"Doc...did you say twins?" Grayson asked confused

"Yes twins, she is pregnant, did you guys not know?"

You and Grayson shook your heads

"Well in that case, congratulations you guys are going to be parents!" The doctor said enthusiastically as Grayson smiled, trying to contain his excitement

"Thank you doctor" you smiled

Afterwards you both left the hospital and went back home, both in silence because you wanted to share your enthusiasm with everyone at home

"Mommy! You're back!" d/n said as she saw you cross the door to your home, with Cameron and her husband sitting on the couch

"What happened?" Cameron asked worried

"I'M PREGNANT!"

"SHE'S PREGNANT!"

Grayson and you shouted at the same time, hugging each other as tears of joy streamed down your eyes

"Wow! Congratulations!" Spoke c/h/n

"So there really will be another kid running around here soon then huh?" Cameron chuckled, remembering the conversation from before

"Actually...there's going to be TWO more kids running around here soon" You explained as you put two fingers, smiling

"I'm going to have a baby brother and sister?" d/n asked confused

You nodded as you saw a smile on her face light up

"Yay! I'm going to take good care of them, I promise!" she stated as she ran to her room

"Well, I guess this is like a delayed Christmas present, they were there, we just didn't know it" Cameron stated as you all laughed, making her statement in some way true
