I'm So In Love With You

You awoke in the early morning to the sound of a bird pecking at your window

You groaned as you opened your eyes and saw it fly away almost immediately

You turned around in your bed and faced the person who was latching onto you

As all those thoughts wandered over your head, you came to the realization of how much you were in love with him

You decided to sneak out of his embrace and prepare some breakfast for him

You put on some music that you didn't think was too loud as you started cooking away

You cheerful attitudes in the mornings made it worth waking up so early

Grayson saw as your messy hair bounced side to side to the rhythm, making him laugh at the little show you were unknowingly putting for him while also making breakfast

He loved the way something so simple made you happy, he would give you the world if he could, just to see you happy, but things were much easier with you

A single rose, your favorite meal, or even your favorite gas station snack could make your whole day, as long as you knew that Grayson had brought it

He kept watching you dance as he walked up to you and placed his hands on your hips gently, startling you

"Grayson! I could've burnt you with the oil!" you scolded lightly as you brought down the heat of the stove and turned around, your hands around his neck

"Good morning beautiful" he said, kissing your forehead, immediately making you blush at his sweetness, "I need to confess something" he continued

You gave him the face to go on with his sentence, "I'm so in love with you" he said

"I'm in love with you too, you know that" you said as you traced the back of his neck gently, looking into his eyes

"I know, but I'm so in love with you, that one day, I'll get down on one knee and ask you to be mine forever. There's no one else I would rather be with than with you"

You smiled adoringly at his sentence and hid in his chest shyly, making him laugh lightly

"I can't wait for that day to come then" you whispered
