This story is no way tied into Joy and Pain or Sady Baby and can be found in my works.
The last thing Jade planned on doing was fighting but here she was once more looking like the bad guy.
Not much had changed since she had left. Jade was still the pretty tomboy type with a pretty face, quick hands, and a mean mouth. She stood 5'7 with a thicker-than-normal frame. She was normally slim but had gained a little weight since anyone had last seen her. Even with weight on she didn't look bad at all, she was actually about as thick as Capri, and really that was the only thing Capri had on her.
"On my momma hoe if you ever run up on me you better come 10 deep." Jade said as Capri punched at her.
It was useless since none of Capri's hits were landing.
Jade kicked her once more before standing up straight.
"Don't fuckin play wit me Capri." Jade warned.
Capri knew there was no point in trying to run up again so she accepted defeat as she slowly climbed up. Her thick brown skin frame hadn't changed either. Capri still had a thick curvy shape with a slim waist. Although Jade felt more winded fighting her this time she assumed it was because of the weight she had put on.
Jade made her way across the street to her childhood home, she walked in and slammed the door.
The moment she did it, she wished she hadn't as her baby started to cry.
"What is your problem?" Jayla asked as Jade shot her a glare.
Jade sucked her teeth
"Please jus get yo shit together so we can leave." She said storming through the half-packed house.
Jade wished she had never come back.
The only reason she had was to pack up her old house and move her sister in with her aunt.
When she left a year ago she didn't think she would be back let alone packing her father's things.
"She always fuckin gotta attitude." Jayla mumbled shaking her head.
Everyone who knew Jade knew that.
She was smart but always found herself in a fight. Eventually, those same fights got her expelled and even after getting her GED she barely tried. If she was being completely honest motherhood is what changed everything for her.
Jade walked into her old room before picking up the crying baby and rocking it.
Her eyes scanned over her baby wearing the best friend necklace she had handed down to him.
The other person with the other half was his father.
Every day Jade stared at him and nothing had changed, her son looked just like his father.
He was brown, with his father's big brown eyes, his dimples, and even his curly fro.
It was an easy tell tell that Los was her baby daddy.
That's because when she left no one knew she was pregnant and she wanted to keep it that way.
Jayla never understood why her sister didn't tell Los and why she refused to let her or their father say anything. Really she made them promise that he wouldn't find out where she was. It wasn't until Jade arrived that morning that Jayla even knew she had a nephew.
"We might as well stay up all night and pack. That way we can have everything done by morning." Jayla entered her sister's room to see her feeding her nephew as she cried.
