Sidharth got a little fussy in the shoots… He was throwing tantrums at the sets.. The people on the sets saw Shehnaaz leaving after lunch with a sad face… They somehow understood that some issue was going on between them…
Shehnaaz didn’t go home, she called Rehan and they decided to catch up for coffee.. She didn’t inform Sidharth since he was already off…
Sidharth took a short break and Kaushal gave him a prep talk, “Sidharth, jo bhi chal raha hai cold war tumhare aur Shehnaaz ke beech me, usko zara side me rakho… Don’t mix professional and personal life… I know something is bothering you both for sure so please focus on work… You have a reputation and you can’t just show such tantrums because Shehnaaz isn’t present.. And she didn’t go on her own you sent him…” said Kaushal and Sidharth looked at him and sulked again…
Kaushal handed him a cup of tea and he gulped it down… He knew Shehnaaz had made it as he took a sip and he finally behaved properly and finished his shoot… He kept giving angry glares to Kaushal for being so dry with him… Such a baby, Sidharth Shukla is…. Kaushal chuckled at him and went to meet him after the work was done, “Acha, I am sorry mere bhai.. I know I was too harsh but you know you behave like stupid when you both fight…”
“I know man, thanks for being there…” said Sidharth pulling him in a hug..
“Hua kya hai bataega?” asked Kaushal and Sidharth narrated his side of the story…. The things he had misunderstood about Rehan and Shehnaaz meeting but it was an old picture and the half text message he saw… Kaushal didn’t say anything much, “Sun, ye sab na abhi hoga.. Try to ignore all this… Things will go up and down but don’t let anything professional affect your personal life… I have done a full research on Rehan and he is a great guy, well built up, hardworking and absolutely good looking.. Also, he supported Shehnaaz during her controversy so I trust him for Shehnaaz.. She doesn’t have many friends and that’s why she is hanging out with him till the time he is in Bombay.. So, bear with him for some time… I will let you know if this picture is of their recent meet or old.. Because meri knowledge me aisa koi hangout nai hai… Aaj mile hai dono abhi and I know… In the day she was at home…” informed Kaushal..
“One second, they didn’t meet in the morning? Wait I’ll show you the snap..” said Sidharth and showed him the exact story… It read, ‘6 years ago from the camera roll..’ which sidharth missed out…
“Bhai, this is 6 years old picture, read that in the corner of the screen…” said Kaushal and Sidharth understood what the reality was.. But then, his mind focused on the other part of the conversation which said Shehnaaz was with Rehan…
“Abhi gayi hai Rehan ke pass?” asked Sidharth and Kaushal rolled his eyes, “Abhi samjhaya hu ki uska acha dost hai, Bombay me thode time ke liye hai to mil rahi hai…”
Sidharth decided to divert his mind and also, he felt a little better as he realized that the picture was old..
On the other hand, Shehnaaz met Rehan and she was a little lost and not her usual self… Rehan knew Shehnaaz well enough to understand what her mood was at that moment..
“Kya hua hai Sana?” he asked and held her hand… She looked at him and then looked away again…
“Bol de, halka hoga man…” insisted Rehan and she told him everything… (I am not re-typing again.. Just the last part of Shehnaaz’s convo with Rehan…)
“Meri samjh hi nai aa raha ki wo aise kyu behave kar raha hai…” concluded Shehnaaz..
Rehan tried to understand Sidharth’s behavior a little and said, “Kuch confusion ho gaya hoga.. He will be fine.. You both will be fine.. Itna mat soch Sana…” he said and ordered something for both of them…
She wasn’t talking much… Rehan tried to cheer her as much as possible and in the end gave her an idea, “Ek kaam kar, ghar jaa and cook for him… Decorate your balcony, light up the candles and dress up in his favourite attire…  He will be all fine…”
Shehnaaz liked the idea and she hugged Rehan, “Sorry, aise tera bhi mood kharab karne ke liye… Mai sochi thi mil lungi, thoda mind divert hoga lekin maine tujhe bhi isme ghaseet liya..”
“Pagal hai kya.. That’s what friends are for.. Relax, don’t think much… Go make your husband happy…” said Rehan as he pulled out of the hug…
The media was mad and crazy, they were clicking Shehnaaz and Rehan as many times as they were spotting them and this wasn’t their fault entirely.. The team which was responsible for promoting Shehnaaz’s and Rehan’s song was very active from beforehand… They had specially asked the media to capture these two for creating a hype for the song… The media did as they had asked them to and they captured when Rehan hugged Shehnaaz.. They posted the picture all around and Sidharth saw that..
He got a little irritated and he was about to leave when he heard a knock.. He asked the person to come in and it was the director himself, “Hey Sidharth.. How are you?”
“I am fine sir, ready to go home.. You tell me, is it something urgent?” asked Sidharth..
“Yes, kind of.. A few new characters have been introduced and there’s a small dinner organized here for welcoming the new actors.. Can you stay for an hour and a half tonight?” asked the director and Sidharth couldn’t deny.. “Sure sir.” Said Sidharth, “I just need to lay down for some time..”
“Yes, take your time Sidharth..” saying so the director left..
Sidharth kept his phone aside and closed his eyes as lay on his bed in the vanity…
Shehnaaz went home and started cooking.. She didn’t light up the candles but just wore a saree of Sidharth’s choice and cooked delicious non veg food..
She rested for a while and didn’t realize when sleep took over and she slept on the couch itself.. Sidharth got up after a while, met the new actors and chit chatted with everyone and had dinner without informing Shehnaaz… He didn’t even call her or texted her…. He had a few glasses of whiskey as well during the dinner and Riya came to him to discuss something about the script.. These two were discussing in a corner and the paps clicked them too.. He was a bit drunk and he tripped while walking, Riya held his arm and he was fine.. Adith came forward and took Sidharth from her and made him sit in the car…
He took Sidharth home and Shehnaaz was awake since half an hour waiting for Sidharth to come back home… She called him but all her calls went unanswered.. She called Adith and that’s when he went to get Sidharth back home…
“Kyu leke aa gaya meko… Mai baat kar raha tha na…” whined Sidharth.. Adith simply ignored because he knew that he was drunk…
Shehnaaz was waiting and she was worried… Adith dropped her a text and she took a sign of relief… But he didn’t tell Shehnaaz about Sidharth’s drinking…
Adith dropped him home and left for home… Sidharth kept ringing the bell without stopping and Shehnaaz hurriedly opened the door… “Kitna time laga di Shehnaaz..” He whined and stormed to the bedroom without even looking at her… She walked behind him, he took his shoes off and thumped himself on the bed, his hands spread on both sides and he was in the middle of the bed capturing maximum area of the bed leaving not much space for Shehnaaz…
