Sidharth wrapped his arm around Shehnaaz’s shoulder.. She didn’t oppose but she didn’t snuggle into him as well..
Kaushal was coming in another car.. As planned, Adith stopped at the ice cream store..
“Bhabi, yaha ice creams achi milti hai.. Aap khaoge.?” Asked Adith.. Shehnaaz looked at Sidharth who was looking away.. She very well understood it was his plan.. She agreed..
She looked at Sidharth again, this time he looked back at her.. She raised her eyebrows, asking him to come along and he did..
He knew what she loved and that’s what he got for her.. He didn’t buy for himself and they walked to the car.. “Sidharth, nice plan.. I am impressed” said Shehnaaz and Adith understood well what Shehnaaz meant…
Sidharth held her hand, “Baby, I’m really sorry..” said Sidharth and she finally hugged him.. She couldn’t see him like that anymore..
“Bas kar ab..” said Shehnaaz and he tightened the hug.. He let go off her and said, “Finish the ice cream and then I will hold you again..” said Sidharth, kissing her forehead..
Shehnaaz smiled and agreed.. She was having her ice cream and Sidharth’s phone rang.. It was Naira.. “Mamu, how are things now? What’s happening?? Are you both fine?” asked Naira..
“Bache, relax.. We are fine..” said Sidharth, looking at Shehnaaz and she understood Naira had called..
“I am sorry for over reacting.. I am going to Little Space right now.. Project discussion hai.. I will talk about you both with both your parents.. Invite Kabir and his parents at our place.. We will have dinner together, I promise to behave like a grown up man.. But, I am still in a shock.. When did you grow up? Why did you grow up so soon..” said Sidharth, controlling his tears.. Shehnaaz had done eating her ice cream and had wrapped her arms around him…
“Mamu, relax.. I won’t be staying too far.. You please calm down..” said Naira and her maturity hit him again..
“Baby, come and stay with me.. Be with me as much as possible..” said Sidharth and Naira knew he was breaking down..
“Mamu, Mai aapke pass hi Rehne wali hu.. Abhi Aa jati hu.. Aap please itna zyada emotional mat ho jao.. Mai aapke sath hi rahungi.. Promise..” said Naira and Shehnaaz took the phone from Sidharth’s hand..
“Naira, bache.. Tu fikar mat kar.. Araam se reh abhi.. Hum aaenge toh tu hamare sath rehna.. Sidharth ki fikar mat karna Mai hu uske sath.. Dono Mamu Bhanji emotional ho rahe ho, please shant ho jao..” said Shehnaaz and Naira agreed…
She disconnected the call and Sidharth hugged her tight.. He cried, hiding his face in her chest.. Adith had never seen Sidharth so low and breaking down so badly before.. He texted Kaushal saying, “Sidharth Bhai thoda abhi family matter ko leke kaafi emotional hai.. Aap kuch bahana bana ke meeting postpone kar do na.. Mai Little Space leke jata hu dono ko, Bhai sahi ho jaenge..” texted Adith and Kaushal replied, “Haa, maine Inka jhagda sort out karwane bahana banaya tha.. Meeting Mai kal karunga.. Wo project ki details Sun ke bhi Sidharth Shehnaaz dono emotional hone wale hai.. Abhi wo already emotions me hai, mai karunga baad me..” said Kaushal and Adith thanked him..
Meanwhile, Shehnaaz didn’t ask him to stop crying.. She let him cry and kept rubbing his back, pressing her lips on his forehead..
“Bebu, shant ho ja ab.. Naira hamare sath reh rahi hai na.. Fir kyu soch raha hai? Chal, ab dekh meri taraf..” said Shehnaaz, holding his face softly.. He looked at her, his eyes were still wet with tears..
“Sidharth, tu strong hai na.. Sidharth Shukla hai tu.. Teri Naira bhi tere jaisi hi hai na Bebu.. Uspe bharosa rakh, khud pe bharosa rakh.. Sab acha hoga.. Bas tu himmat rakh..” said Shehnaaz..
Her words seemed to soothe him.. His restlessness, his break down, his tears.. All came in front of her and she managed to shoo them away from troubling her man.. She was his shield..
“Mera Strong Sidharth hai. Aaja..” Cooed Shehnaaz, pointing towards her lap and he happily snuggled into her…
He felt his broken pieces joining again.. His heart was at peace and his mind was cooled down as well.. She kept brushing her fingers in his hair and he smiled at her..
They reached Little Space and Adith told them, “Kaushal ko kaam se related emergency Aa gayi hai toh wo meeting kal ke liye postpone kiya hai.. Aap log yaha rahoge aaj?” asked Adith and Sidharth looked at Shehnaaz.. She smiled at him and they walked in..
They walked into their room, lay on the bed and cuddled together.. Sidharth sneezed and they both laughed.. She grabbed her handbag and handed him the medicine.. He took it and scrunched his nose..
“Aww, mera baby.. Aaja godi..” said Shehnaaz and the big guy snuggled into his little baby’s lap..
“Sab acha hoga, mai bol rahi hu na.. Bas tu sochna band kar.. Aur jo decision tune liya hai, wo sahi hain.. Zyada mat soch.. Kabir Acha ladka hai.. Dono shuru se ek dusre ke sath hai aur kisi ko date bhi nai kiye ek dusre ke alawa.. Acha hai. Heartbreak nai hua dono ka.. Bas Baba Ji khush rakhe dono ko..” said Shehnaaz, a little drop of tear falling down from her eyes which she wiped soon..
Adith got dinner for them, they ate and fell asleep.. The next morning, they woke up early and went home…
Mom was awake and as she opened the door, she saw their happy faces and knew they had sorted out… “Good Morning, bacho!” said Mom, hugging them both and they smiled wide..
“Mom, Didi Jiju, Naira, Kabir aur uske parents aaj dinner ke liye aaenge.. We will talk through it..” informed Sidharth and Mom patted his back..
“Come, both of you.. Breakfast karlo..” said Mom and Sidharth lazed around.. Shehnaaz got up, filled his plate and got it on the couch for him.. “Mai khaa leta na.. Kyu subhe-subhe pareshan ho rahi hai baby..” said Sidharth and Shehnaaz burst out laughing…
“Tu uthta khud se? Shakal dekh.. Susti dikh rahi hai.. Sardi ki dawa liya hai.. Soya nai subhe.. Maa, ye bho tang kiya mujhe..” Shehnaaz complained to Mom while making a bite and shoving it into his mouth..
“Tu toh janti hai wo kaisa hai.. Mai bhot pareshan hui hu, ab tu sambhal..” said Mom and Sidharth sulked, “Mai koi pareshan nai karta hu.. Aap dono se pyar chaiye hota hai bas..” scoffed Sidharth, still sulking..
The ladies looked at him, the big guy who was a baby at heart. Mom’s phone rang and she was busy while Shehnaaz cajoled her baby..
Once done with breakfast, Kaushal called him.. “Ghar aau?” asked Kaushal and Sidharth agreed..
He was on the way and reached soon.. Sidharth had taken a shower already and Shehnaaz was in the bathroom when Kaushal came.. “Hey bro! All sorted now?” asked Kaushal and Sidharth blushed…Shehnaaz came out in a pair of shorts and tshirt with her wet hair dripping down her shoulder.. Sidharth wrapped his arm around his waist.. Kaushal chuckled at them..
“Acha suno.. Shehnaaz ka Punjabi Industry me come back ho sakta hai.. Diljit ke sath Movie hai.. It’s a comedy movie.. Very amazing story.. Bas ek issue hai..” said Kaushal…. Sidharth asked, “What is the issue?”
“Shehnaaz has to go to Sydney to shoot.. For a month and a week.. Five weeks in all.. You guys take your time to decide.. There’s still three weeks for the Sydney trip to begin.. Sidharth, you have busy dates during that time.. You can’t go with her.. Commitment already ho chuki hai.. Please, dono shanti se baith ke decision lo.. It’s a great opportunity for Shehnaaz.. Being offered a movie with the greatest star of Punjab Industry, after the controversy will make major changes in a positive manner for Shehnaaz..” said Kaushal.. Explaining each and everything to them so that they make the decision accordingly.. They both were numb.. Not uttering a single word.. “Tum dono aapas me Baat karo.. Mai jata hu. Kuch lagega to bolo, mai pass me hi hu. Aa jaunga.. You guys, don’t stress out because of this.. Jo bhi decision hoga tum dono Ka, I will be with you guys.” Assured Kaushal and left them in their space..
Sidharth looked at Shehnaaz, her welled up eyes weakened Sidharth.. “Mera Bacha!” he cooed, taking her in his arms.. She dig her face in the crook of his neck and broke down..
“Sidhaaartthh!” He said while she sobbed.. “Mai kya karu Sidharth?” she asked, not leaving him even for a second..
“Shehnaaz, calm down baby.. Don’t cry meri Jaan.. Stop crying first. We will talk through it..” said Sidharth, pulling out of the hug.. He wiped her tears and kissed her forehead..
“Meri Baat dhyan se sun.. Baby, with all the things you have suffered.. Doing this movie will give an answer to all the haters.. Meri Jaan, I don’t want to stop you from doing this.. It is definitely a huge opportunity to work with a star like Diljit..” said Sidharth and Shehnaaz hugged him again..
