CHAPTER 96 NURTURING US

Shehnaaz was utterly shocked at such behaviour of Sidharth... She took his jeans off and made him wear his shorts… He didn’t even realize… He was way too sleepy since it was a hard day at work, his mind was tired with the over thinking and everything that was going on…

She let him wear the same tshirt and went out of the room, grabbing her night wear… She kept the food in the fridge and went to the guest room to sleep… Mom was at Didi’s and was unaware of everything that was happening…

She didn’t eat and cried herself to sleep… She didn’t know how to handle Sidharth at the moment… She managed to sleep and wake up early as well… She went to check on him and he was in the same position, still asleep… She grabbed her clothes, went to take a shower, got ready and went out... She asked the cook to make breakfast for him and left for work…

Adith came after Shehnaaz had left... He was a little taken aback, “Bhabi itna jaldi chale gaye…” He thought to himself…

Sidharth woke up with a mad headache and alone in bed… He started being absolutely grumpy and cranky... He thought she would be in the drawing room but she wasn’t there and it pissed him more…

Shehnaaz had a costume trail for a photo shoot which she had to get done for some project… She met Ken in his office…

“Hey Barbie Girl... Kaisi hai?” asked Ken and she just smiled, “thik hu... Chal kaam pe lag jate hai… Meko nikalna hai lunch ke pehle…” said Shehnaaz…

Ken had a busy day too, he had to work even after lunch so he didn’t notice Shehnaaz’s plain mood…

She kept changing into multiple outfits and the photographer kept clicking random pictures... Just a trail photoshoot... Shehnaaz had started feeling a little dizzy but she ignored it and kept changing outfits, different makeup touch ups and posing every now and then…

Sidharth was behaving like a mad man… He ate half breakfast only… He asked the cook to get him a lemonade and he gulped it down his throat… His headache seemed to be increasing and he just stormed out of the house, sat in the car and Adith drove to the shoot location…

“Koi chemist store dikhega to headache ki tablets kharid lena...” said Sidharth and Adith handed him the medicine which Shehnaaz had already kept in the car for emergency requirements... “Yaha kaise?” asked Sidharth and he told him, “Bhabi ne ek chota emergency medicine ka pack rakhe hai along with first aid...”

He took a tablet and slept again… The shoot location of this day was a little away from the city... Sidharth had probably forgotten about it and he realized when they reached the location…

“Aaj tha kya ye outdoor shoot?” asked Sidharth as he woke up... He groaned when he heard Adith telling him where they were…

“Hadh hai Yaar, Shehnaaz kaha hai?” he asked Adith…

“Mere aane ke pehele hi Bhabi nikal chuke the…” informed Adith and Sidharth called Shehnaaz but it couldn’t reach her… He started getting weird intuitions, “Wo thik to hogi na... I’ve been too harsh on her... Damn, I miss her now...” thought Sidharth to himself… He asked Adith, “Shehnaaz ko call kar... Mera lag nai raha hai…”

“Bhai, yaha network nai hai… Relax…” said Adith and Sidharth felt he was over thinking and brushed his negative thoughts away…

Sidharth asked the director to keep the shoots ready and he wanted to wrap up soon... “I want to shoot as early as possible... I won’t be staying here late... Dinner ke pehle I want to be home… There’s no network here and I can’t even reach my wife through this phone call…” He whined at the director and he agreed to do the set up as early as possible…
