CHAPTER 90 NURTURING US

Shehnaaz had a busy meeting.. She was with Kaushal in a five-star hotel.. The team had come and Shehnaaz got a little shock seeing the guy sitting near the director..
He was Rehan Singhaniya, the actor with whom she had worked quite a lot before.. The pair was famous and were rumored to be dating in the past.. Shehnaaz looked At Kaushal, he didn’t know about the past..
The director explained the theme of the music video and it was a romantic Hindi song.. The song was under a big banner Y-Series (Just for copyright issues I’m not using T series..)
The pair was demanded by some fans and the director decided to pair them.. Once the director finished explaining the song he went to attend a call..
Rehan was sitting in front of Shehnaaz, he came and sat next to her.. There were paps in the hotel and suddenly started capturing them.. They clicked the video of Rehan sitting in front and then changing his position to sit next to Shehnaaz… He forwarded his hand for her to shake and she politely shook his hand…
The paps clicked their pictures as well.. Shehnaaz and Rehan didn’t realize this and were just chit chatting casually.. Rehan congratulated Shehnaaz for getting married, “Kya Madam.. Bigg Boss ke baad se gayab hi ho.. Na call na message..”
“Bombay ki life hi aisi hai.. Time hi nai rehta.. Jitna bhi free time milta hai mai Sidharth ke sath hi rehti hu..” She said with a happy smile..
They were sitting with a distance between them and they were just being casual..
The director came back and so did Kaushal, he removed the media person and came to the meeting area..
“What’s your decision Shehnaaz Madam?” asked the director.. Shehnaaz looked at Kaushal and he came close to her, “Ha bol.. Kya karna hai?” he asked her and she softly replied, “Sidharth se Baat karne ke baad karte hai final.. Shoot kaha hone wala hai?” asked Shehnaaz and Kaushal asked the same to thee director..
The director replied, “Bombay me hi hoga major shoot.. Kisi cheez ke liye Lonavla jana padh sakta hai.. Ek din ke liye.. Subhe Jaake shaam ko wapas.. Not much…”
Shehnaaz replied, “Dekhiye, I will let you know.. Mai sab sun li hu.. Acha laga lekin mujhe sochne me time chahiye..” said Shehnaaz and the director agreed.. “sure.. Aap time lo, shoot me thoda time hai..”
The director shook hands with Shehnaaz, Kaushal and Rehan and left.. They had ordered a few snacks and Rehan offered her to wait for some time.. “Thode time baith jao.. Agar tumhare pass time hai to.. Kaafi time hua hang out kiye..”
Shehnaaz checked the time and it was just an hour since she dropped Sidharth to his work place… She decided to stay for some more time and then leave..
Kaushal left since he had some other work and Rehan told Shehnaaz about his married life and Shehnaaz told him about herself and Sidharth…
She got a call from Adith, “Bhabi, aapko kitna time lagega.. Aa jao na set pe..”
“Mai nikal hi rahi hu, 10 min me pahoch jaungi..” said Shehnaaz and disconnected the call…
Shehnaaz turned towards Rehan and politely bid goodbye to him, “Mujhe jana hoga… Thoda kaam hai important… Jaise mera final hoga ya nai hoga mai bata dungi..” She stood up to leave and so did he, “Haa, koi nai.. Mai bhi nikal hi raha hu… Chalte hai chalo..”
Rehan and Shehnaaz walked together since both their cars were in the parking managed by their drivers.. The paps were waiting outside and as these two stepped out, they snapped them together and they both were a little shocked as everyone knew about Shehnaaz and Sidharth, and Rehan and his girlfriend… Snapping them together seemed weird but they ignored and sat in their respective cars and left…
Sidharth had resumed the break and started the shoot again… The director did Sidharth’s solo shoots first and that was going on…
Shehnaaz reached the shoot location and was looking at him from a distance.. As she settled on the sitting area outside Sidharth’s vanity, Riya came out from the nearby vanity and greeted Shehnaaz…
“Hello Ma’am.. Kaise ho?” She asked.. Shehnaaz felt a weird vibe around her, which wasn’t Riya’s fault.. It was just Shehnaaz’s heart that ached whenever she thought about Sidharth acting with Riya…
Shehnaaz smiled at her and replied, “Mai mast hu.. All the best for your shoot..”
“Thank You Ma’am..” said Riya and went ahead…
Sidharth finished his scenes and saw Shehnaaz sitting outside his vanity… He took a sigh of relief and they shared a deep eye lock.. She passed a smile to him and he started posing for the posters with Riya comfortably..
Their comfort, their love, their understanding was such, just her presence comforted him and the shoot went smoothly…
Once done, Sidharth hurriedly walked to his vanity and Shehnaaz was already standing as she saw him walking towards her.. He threw himself at the little human and she wrapped her arms around him, holding him in her arms and they hugged each other, felt each other’s presence and their souls were at peace…
“Chal Bebu, chor ab.. Khana khila deti hu…” said Shehnaaz as she tried to get him out of her.. He groaned as he had to leave her but he dragged her to the vanity where Mom’s cooked food was already kept by Adith….
She served food in a plate and fed him as he told her how the shoot went and then he asked her about her meeting..
“Teri meeting kaisi rahi?” asked Sidharth.. “Acha tha.. Y series ka offer hai.. Mai sochi nai hu abhi is baare me..”
As they were in the middle of their conversation, they heard a knock on the vanity door.. Sidharth asked the person to come in and it was the spot dada calling him for the further shoots..
“Sidharth, last bite lele fir chala jana..” said Shehnaaz and fed him the last bite.. He kissed her forehead and left to finish the shoots of the day…
Shehnaaz was scrolling down her phone when she saw what all the media portals had posted regarding her and Rehan.. She didn’t go into the depth.. She saw a picture where Kaushal, Shehnaaz, Rehan and the director, everyone was sitting.. She thought it was a casual news headline..
Sidharth hugged Shehnaaz as soon as he came back and they left for home.. Once they reached, Shehnaaz went to make dinner and Sidharth saw his phone and he looked at each and everything which was posted by the media portals, the picture of all four people, Rehan changing positions and also, the main headline which got viral was, “Famous actress Shehnaaz snapped as she reunites again with her ex-Punjabi Fling Rehan Singhaniya..”
Sidharth remembered who this Rehan was and his temper raised to another level…
Mom wasn’t home, she was still staying at Didi’s house because Sidharth had shoots all day.. Shehnaaz was in the kitchen, asking the house help to chop the necessary vegetables for dinner and she came with two cups of tea for herself and Sidharth…
Sidharth was walking around his bed and stopped when he saw her coming..
“Kaha thi tum? Han? Was this your work? Reuniting with your so-called ex-boyfriend..” snapped Sidharth leaving Shehnaaz in shock.. “Bolo na, ab chup kyu ho?”
“Sidharth tu galat samjh raha hai..” Shehnaaz tried to talk to him but he didn’t listen..
“Just fuck off Shehnaaz..” stormed Sidharth.. Now what? TBC
