Sidharth grabbed Shehnaaz from her waist and hugged her tight.. He snuggled into her neck and his arms were wrapped around her bare waist, pulling her closer and minimizing the distance between each other..
“Mera Bacha, please trust me.. I know mai zyada bhadak gaya tha.. I was genuinely hurt.. I am also a human being.. Kar diya zyada gussa.. Lekin trust me.. Riya wala maine kuch nai kiya.. She is getting different.. I felt it yesterday… Tujhe chahiye toh tu chal mere sath usko milne.. Bata de usko Mai sirf tera hu.. Kabhi kisi ka nai hone wala.. I only love you, my precious.. You also know it… Nai raha jaa raha tujhse door.. Itne din ho gaye… Abhi tu Sydney bhi jane wali hai… Please let us end this, please, Mera Bacha!” cooed Sidharth, his eyes had welled up and Shehnaaz felt it when a tear dropped on her back..
Her heart ached feeling his tear drops and she pulled out of the hug and cupped his face in her palm, “Bas, bas… Shaant ho ja ab.. Mai janti hu tune kuch galat nai kiya…” said Shehnaaz.. The fact that they had to stay away for a month was hitting her and him as well…
Shehnaaz didn’t say anything much… She wiped his tears and kissed his nose… He pressed his lips on her forehead and hugged her again…
“Sidharth, mujhe jaane de.. Naira ko meri zarurat hai..” said Shehnaaz, trying to get away from the hug.. “Mat jao naaa, please….” Cooed Sidharth, pulling her into him again..
Shehnaaz chuckled at her big baby, “Nona Puchhu hai tu..” said Shehnaaz and Sidharth’s heart swelled up with love listening to her cute and weird nickname…
“Ufff!” he hissed and pressed his lips on her shoulders… She closed her eyes and lifted her face up, giving him more access..
“Baby are you done with your periods?” asked Sidharth and she blushed, “Ho gaye khatam..” said Shehnaaz..
Sidharth groaned coming out of her neck and let her go, “Tu jaa Naira ke pass, mai nai rok paunga apne aap ko..” said Sidharth, looking away, knowing he would lose his control…
Shehnaaz pecked his lips softly and walked out of the room.. She didn’t know how she forgave him, the thought about being away for a month made her forgive him…
She rang the doorbell of Preeti’s house and as didi opened the door, she hugged Shehnaaz, “Meri bachi chale jaegi ghar se..” cried Didi, holding Shehnaaz tightly in her arms..
Rita Maa hugged both of them.. “Bache, shant ho Jaa..” cooed Mom and Shehnaaz ribbed her back, “Didi, bas, itna nai ro na.. Bho pyari hai Naira… Yehi building me rahegi na.. Aise thodi koi rota hai.. Ye toh khushi ka din hai na.. Kabir kitna dhyan rakhta hai na uska..” said Shehnaaz, pulling out of the hug and wiping her tears….
As Shehnaaz was comforting didi, Sidharth entered her house.. “Abeyy! Didi.. Idhar Aa..” said Sidharth, taking his sister in his arms.. “Mujhe samjha rahi thi na ki Naira door nai Jaa rahi..” He turned towards Shehnaaz, “Baby tu Jaa Naira ke pass.. Mai didi ke sath hu..”
Shehnaaz agreed and walked into Naira’s room while Sidharth comforted his sister, “Wo tujhe aise rote hue dekhegi toh wo bhi roh degi.. Its her special day.. Mai bhi emotional hu, kaafi zyada.. Lekin maine Kabir se itni baate kari hai.. Deep conversation.. I trust him.. He is definitely a great guy.. She will be in our building.. Please shant ho Jaa..” saying so, He wiped her tears and hugged both mom and didi..
“We are all strong and together.. That’s our strength and Kabir is added in our family, Naira is not going anywhere.. Take it positively..” said Sidharth..
Mom was quite impressed with his statement of how he was thinking of making Kabir as a part of family instead of sending Naira to his family..
In Naira’s room, Shehnaaz made sure she wasn’t crying.. She helped her getting ready.. “Maami, you’re an amazing person, a friend and sister and an elder too for me.. I love you, so much..” said Naira, when Shehnaaz finished doing her makeup..
“Awww, jaise tu bhi meri dost cum bachi ek me hi hai..” said Shehnaaz, keeping the brush on the table and looking at Naira from head to toe..
“Bhot pyari lag rahi hai.. Khush reh bas.. Tum dono, ladna marna kuch bhi karna, sath rehna bas..” said Shehnaaz and Naira understood from Shehnaaz’s expression, “Mamu se sort ho gya naaaa.. Aap baar-baar bahar dekh rahe ho..” said Naira and Shehnaaz blushed..
“Awwwww! I really wish hum dono, aap dono jaise ban jaye..” wished Naira, wanting to be like her Mama and Mami..
“Tum dono hamare jaise hi ho.. Ek dm.. Hamara better version ho dono.. Chalo, ab madam aapki engagement ka time pass Aa Gaya hai.. Tera dulha wait kar raha hai.. Haye! Shukar hai tu same building me Rehne wali hai warna Sidharth ko sambhalna mushkil ho jata..” said Shehnaaz…
“Aap chalo, mai bas apne room me as a single das minute rehna chahti hu.. I’ve been staying at this room since I remember..” said Naira and Shehnaaz cupped her face, “Lele time bas rona nai.. Wapas yehi aane wale hai..” said Shehnaaz and pressed her lips on her forehead and left her..
She came out and everyone was calm.. Sidharth had his arm wrapped around his brother in law and Didi on each side.. Mom was adoring the trio..
“Sab thik hai?” asked Shehnaaz and Mom pulled her closer, “Bache, tu toh badi ho gayi.. I am Proud of the way you handled Preeti.. Mujhse Maan hi nai rahu thi and teri baate sun ke rona band..” cooed Mom, hugging her daughter like daughter in law with utmost love..
“Ab bas Naira ka tension hai..” as the rest of the ones heard this they turned towards her..
“Kya tension?” asked Sidharth leaving the couple and coming close to Mom and Shehnaaz..
“Meri samjh aaya lekin nai bhi aaya..” said Shehnaaz, scratching her forehead.. “Abey, moti.. Bolegi kya hua hai? Dara mat.. Gadhi..”
“Keh rahi thi, das minute do as a single last moments us kamre me rehna hai usko.. Lekin wo toh Kabir ke sath relationship me thi na.. Single kaise hui?” said Shehnaaz, innocently..
“Abbey! Emotions pe Jaa naa.. Relationship me rehna alag hota hai.. Engagement ke Pehle tak sab single hi rehte hai.. Words pe mat Jaa, emotions pe Jaa..” said Sidharth, chuckling at his baby and she pouted..
“Has mat kutte.. Bas man me sawal aaya toh puch liya.. Wo tune confuse kar ke rakha hai mujhe.. Sala engagement kar ke bhi just friend bolna hota tha tujhe.. Hadh hai.. Ab Aa Gaya confusion Mai kya karu..” said Shehnaaz and Sidharth was in awe of her and so were the rest of the ones..
“Awww, mera bachaaa! I am sorry.. Samjh sakta hu.. Chal ab muh mat sadha.. Neeche do car se Jaa rahe hai.. Didi Jiju mom driver ke sath.. Hum dono aur Naira sath me.. Neetu is coming alag se with Rumi Jiju..” said Sidharth..
Shehnaaz agreed and Naira came out, looking like a princess.. Sidharth maintained a poker face, not wanting to be emotional and he wanted to be strong for his sister too..
“Looking exactly how I imagined.. My little princess!” cooed Sidharth and hugged her.. “chalo, no one will get emotional.. Jaisa bola hai waise car me baitho and lets leave!” said Sidharth, wrapping an arm around Naira’s waist and holding Shehnaaz’s hands…
Naira hugged her parents before climbing into the car and they all reached Kabir’s house where the engagement was to be held..
Shehnaaz didn’t leave Naira’s side, making sure that she was fine.. Sidharth walked into Kabir’s room.. “All well with you Young man!” asked Sidharth…
“Yaaaa, bas alag feeling hai.. I am not able to believe that ye sach me ho raha hai.. Special feeling hai.. Matlab..” He wasn’t able to express his exact feeling…
Sidharth hugged him, “Hota Hai.. Relax.. Everything will fall into place.. Your friends are waiting.. Chalo, let’s make you a part of our family. And Naira a part of yours!” said Sidharth and they walked out…
The friends and families and also, Kabir and Naira’s office colleagues along with bit their bosses were present..
Sidharth was like a support system for Kabir and Shehnaaz for Naira.. Kabir bent on his knees and forwarded his hand, Naira held it and he slid the ring on her finger.. Tears rolled down Naira’s eyes and Kabir got up, kissed her forehead and wiped her tears.. She then slid the ring into Kabirs fingers and everyone hooted!
Sidharth hugged the couple and Shehnaaz rubbed his back.. She knew he was holding back his tears… She knew him in and out..
Kabir and Naira took blessings of all the family members if both the families.. Once done, Kabir’s  friends announced a few dance performances by the friends.. In the end, SidNaaz had to perform..
Shehnaaz had no idea and Sidharth had planned it to surprise Shehnaaz.. “Ye bina preparation ke kaise karenge?” asked a nervous Shehnaaz..
“Abey! Tujhe kab se preparation ki zarurat padhne laga.. Just go with the flow baby.. Look into my eyes, Feel the love, apne aap Acha performance hoega..” said Sidharth..
BAKHUDA, TUMHI HO.. HAR JAGAH, TUMHI HO.. HA, MAI DEKHU JAHA JAB.. US JAGAH TUMHI HO..
Sidharth wasn’t in a mood to let her stay away from him.. The way he was pulling her closer with each dance step was making her weak on her knees..

“you’re the reason for my existence in life, my love.. I am really sorry for stretching my anger for so long..” said Sidharth and snuggled into her neck while they moved with the music..
“Sidhaaartthh!” cooed Shehnaaz, trying to get away from him.. “Sab dekh rahe hai Puchu..” said Shehnaaz..
“Dekhne de.. I am just performing with my lady love..”
YEH JAHAN TUMHI HO.. WO JAHAN TUMHI HO.. IS ZAMEEN SE FALAK THA.. DARMIYA TUMHI HO..
“I love you, Mera Pyara sa Bacha!” cooed Sidharth, finally getting our of her neck and pressed his lips on her forehead.. Then at last, Kabir and Naira performed on a few romantic numbers and the engagement was finally done!
(I didn’t drag the engagement much because I was getting dms wanting to read more about SidNaaz and not the family..)
Everyone went into their house and the close family, Kabir’s mom dad and grandma and from Naira side, her parents and SidNaaz were all set to go to Panchghani the next day.. TBC!
